Holiday rentals with breakfast in Canyon Lake

Caitlin's place was perfect for a week long get away in Austin. The location was close to all things downtown but also on a very quiet east Austin street. The office space was perfect for my wife and I to work while staying at the home.

The house and the yard was fantastic. It has a large kitchen, and living area . The sofa was so comfortable, nice and had plenty seating. I now want to go buy one just like it. The kids room was great. They had a tent with toys in which my 2 year old niece. The outdoor deck and fenced in yard was my favorite. My little corgi dog was so exited to run around and go stare at the cows and neighbors dog. There is a play scape/funhouse, tree swing , and a zip line. We got to see the cows in the back twice and they are beautiful . Amber left snacks for the kiddos by and keurig coffee supplies and tea. The beds were comfy and had soft quilts instead of thick comforters. Everything was very nice and clean and kid and dog friendly .

We had a great stay at this home and really appreciated how communicative the host was-always quick to respond to any questions. The home felt very “lived in,” which we actually appreciated for a kid-friendly stay. The photos were accurate overall, though the exterior was more overgrown than expected and the trampoline looked a bit “play at your own risk.” That said, our kids had an amazing time with the seemingly endless toys, and it was a huge relief not having to bring bulky items like a stroller or a Pack ‘n Play, since they’re here. The beds were very comfortable, the A/C kept us cool during a hot Austin weekend, and having a good washer/dryer made life easier. The location is definitely a strong point—easy access to some great local spots, including Launderette and Bufalina, both of which we’d highly recommend. Check-out was simple. Our only real suggestion would be a deeper cleaning refresh to match the overall comfort and utility. This place is equipped for families!

We had a wonderful stay here while we were having some warranty repairs on our home- Bera was very welcoming and helpful, quick to communicate, and the house was perfect for us: clean, well stocked and cozy! Bera went above and beyond and we truly appreciate everything she did! Highly recommend!!

The house was beautiful, pristine, and very clean. The pool was spectacular—deeper than expected, which was great! Parking was also a breeze thanks to the spacious driveway. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the location is conveniently close to grocery stores. You can tell the property is very well maintained. A couple of things to note: While the amenities list includes items like shampoo and conditioner, most were travel-sized. This was a bit inconvenient for our large group, so make sure to bring your own. Also, the house has only two bathrooms. It’s clearly stated in the listing, but we overlooked it assuming it wouldn’t be an issue since the home accommodates up to 12 guests. Sharing two bathrooms among a big group meant a lot of waiting for showers, which wasn’t ideal. It's just something to think about if you have a larger group like we did. That said, we really enjoyed our stay. The home is lovely overall, it's a great spot and I would happily return in the future!

If you’re looking for a true home away from home, this is it. From a well-equipped kitchen, great bathroom, cozy bedrooms, to a nice backyard with patio space, and secure garage for your car. We stayed with our son and two dogs in-tow for a week’s stay and we all settled in right away. We loved that the location was close to everything. Great space to be able to work out of as well with great internet speed. The thoughtful welcome touches were awesome (drinks in the fridge, some snacks on the table, coffee beans). Excellent home - would definitely stay again if we come back to Austin with the fam + dogs.

We had a great family weekend in Austin here! We loved the location, the quiet neighborhood and the clean home. It was amazing!

Melanie's ranch home is a nice accommodation for the price. It is private and peaceful on a large acreage property. It is convenient to local wineries and equally distanced between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. The kitchen is well stocked and easy for entertaining. We had one issue with the ranch dogs barking late at night, but Melanie took care of it immediately. For guests with mobility issues, just know that the only access to the upstairs bedrooms (one which is a loft with no privacy) is a narrow, spiral staircase. I would recommend this for a quick getaway for a girl's weekend. We had a blast!

Very awesome hosts and lovely space to rent for a few days!

Jane was more than accommodating and went the extra mile to bring my pup some treats on our second day of the trip. My puppy had found some thing to disassemble while I was out on business and Jane an agreeable and negotiable as I promised to pay for anything that needed to be replaced. She didn’t even request any amount as to what I need to pay so I paid what I deemed a fair amount would be and she was more than agreeable with what I had offered. 10-10 would definitely recommend and would stay here anytime I was in town.

All in all, our stay was great. It's a really unique property with fun eclectic amenities. The location was perfect. The historical area was really lovely. It felt like a safe place to stay. Having dedicated and secure parking is real plus! We plan on staying again in the future and exploring the area more.

The unit was spotless, very clean, with lots of new appliances. Fully stocked with the essentials and some extras. Really comfy and spacious bed. Washer and dryer was a plus. Easy to find. The only thing was the courtyard of the complex looked pretty old. Once inside, I was really pleased with the quality of the unit and the price. Mikhail set up everything nicely. Thanks.

I stayed in the apartment for SXSW, and it was fantastic. It was ideally located, incredibly spacious, and peaceful, with 24/7 access. I highly recommend it!

We're back! This time we brought friends with us and rented all of the rooms in the house. The house and all rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Myra is friendly and a gracious host. We stayed 2 days and her breakfast was awesome! She made her famous buttery scrambled eggs with toast and bacon. There was also fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice. She okays her plan for breakfast with you beforehand in case there is a dietary restriction. She took us on an UTV tour of the property to meet and greet the animals. She brought plenty of carrots for our group to feed the animals and taught us how to properly feed them with an open palm. Lily, the zebra, was really friendly. We came at a good time: the baby zebra, Rockstar, had just joined the family a few months ago. Myra and Collin also just brought an Eland to the property. The paddleboats & hot tub were also great. Everyone had a great time. We hope to come back again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Square Inn in Wimberley, TX! The location couldn’t be better—just a block off the city square, where you’ll find an amazing selection of restaurants, art galleries, unique shops, and even candy stores. Everything is within easy walking distance, making it the perfect spot to enjoy all that Wimberley has to offer. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But the real highlight was the breakfast! Lloyd prepared an incredible spread, including crispy bacon, savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, biscuits with rich, flavorful gravy, and the best grits we’ve ever had. It was the perfect way to start the day. We wholeheartedly recommend Square Inn to anyone visiting Wimberley. The combination of a prime location, clean and cozy accommodations, and an unbeatable breakfast makes this a top-notch choice. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

Wonderful place just outside of downtown Wimberley. Quiet and beautiful. Just what we needed for a getaway!

Nice spacious room, very clean space. Loved the hardwood floors and dark wood to give it an extra cozy feel. Very comfy and crisply clean bedding. The Inn was warm and welcoming with a nice lobby and delicious southern cooked buffet breakfast with private seating. The staff was super friendly and kind hearted. Close enough to Greene Hall to easily walk but not too close to be loud. Parking was easy. Check in/out seemless. We’d stay there again!
