Brookside Cottage

Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

This cottage is a private home on Cashiers Lake; walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars, minutes to golf courses, hiking trails and trout fishing, the perfect year round get-a-way with a key location and utmost charm. To all of our guests for 2024- FYI : The private lake that is the back drop to our house will be empty all year due to the owner’s development. Rain will allow it to look full at times. Lazy Moss Cabin at Lake Glenville and pet friendly

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.

Amazing Lakefront home with private NEW dock

Relax with your whole crew in a peaceful, secluded house right on the lake. Spend the days paddling around in the supplied canoes, jumping off the dock into the crystal clear water and floating to your hearts content. The only sounds you will hear is the waterfall across the way and the streams that run on each side of the house. In the evenings enjoy dinner on the deck, drinks by the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub.
