Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Charlottesville

Matt was a great host and accommodating. The house was well kept and the linens and bedding were nice. The beds were very comfortable. Cupboards and drawers were all labeled so everything is easy to find. Matt thought of everything-from cotton swabs to coffee pods, everything is there. The house was in a quiet cul-de-sac but only a short distance to the downtown area and other local interests.

A very nice spacious house that suit our family perfectly, hosts are very responsive, they always got back to us right away. We had a great Memorial weekend in glass house, highly recommended to other travelers!

Great house in Charlottesville. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Comfortable beds and a tankless hot water heater which is nice with multiple teens showering. Matt was very responsive to my questions and super quick to reply. We enjoyed walking down to the casual brewery Högwaller. Would recommend this house for a visit to the Charlottesville area.

This place was awesome! From checking in, to checking out…. The owners were always easy to communicate with! The scenery was out of this world! Sadly i only stayed one night but i will definitely be back!!!!

Matt was incredibly helpful and responsive with any questions as well as recommendations that we asked him about. The loft was beautiful! They did a fantastic job with stocking it with anything we may have forgotten or needed while staying there. We will definitely be sharing this Air B&B with our friends. We were looking for a place where we could gather and celebrate our bother’s birthday. We found it here. Easy access, pleasantly decorated with a kitchen fully equipped for our dinner preparations. There was an issue with the Keurig but Jonathan quickly responded to my message and brought in another that worked just fine. I would stay here again.

Melina’s place is great, and we’ll definitely stay there again on our next visit to Charlottesville. Great layout, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, and really nice outdoor area. Plus Melina is an extremely responsive and friendly host. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

The place was very cozy and clean. We stay for the weekend for a concert in town. It was very close and convenient to the down town area.

We had a great time at Tara & Mark's. It was as good as advertised and we really enjoyed the comfortable and clean space, and the beautiful surroundings outside.

I had a wonderful stay. Ruthann’s place was beautiful both inside and out. The room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, great water pressure in the shower. I especially loved the raised nook beside the bed; it was a lovely place to begin the day, reading by the morning light and listening to the birds. The private patio is peaceful, a well-shaded garden with comfortable furnishings; you can spend all day out there. Ruthann is just lovely. Her instructions for parking and accessing the space were clear, and she was very responsive and checked in with me each day. It was great to chat. I felt very welcome. I appreciated all the little touches, from snacks and water to the collection of DVDs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and hope to stay again!

Beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Had everything we could have possibly wanted and the location was perfect for visiting wineries and breweries! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

We loved our stay at Peter's place! It was just as described. We loved the location and hanging out on the balcony. The bed was very very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.

Great stay. Isaac was easy to deal with. The place is beautiful and in a great location. We would definitely come back. It needs more hangers and more towels. Next time I will bring an extra set of towels for each bathroom with me. Very easy check out. Very relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nice to be in a newer unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great being walkable to Fire and Frost, a coffee/wood fired pizza restaurant, and we prefer the upper mountain location also being walkable to golf, tennis and trails. We hope to come back to Wintergreen soon. It is a great place to relax!

Fantastic place to stay and a very good host. Communication from the host was always extremely fast, detailed, and helpful. The space itself is fantastic - perfect view of the Blue Ridge Mountains skyline and sunset. Also, especially in the skiing off-season (which it was for our visit), it’s very close to Devil’s Backbone, Bold Rock, Three Notch’d, etc, but you are still far enough away to feel like you’ve gotten away from everything. There’s also a solid-looking pizza restaurant in walking distance, though we did not make it there during our visit. The condo has 2 stories that both serve their purpose very nicely - the upstairs has a nice living space and a clean, very usable kitchen. The downstairs has bunk beds and you could walk from the downstairs patio to the slopes. In the offseason, there is a nice hiking trail that is no more than 100 yards away. Overall, we had a blast and would love to return! Thank you!

Wonderful condo with amazing views. Close to hiking trails, and a restaurant right across the street. Watching the sunrise on the deck is so amazing and peaceful. Lauren is extremely responsive.

Very clean and a great place to sit back and relax after a long day out. The living room features two sliding glass doors with screens, which was perfect for the weather in early-June. That and the covered balcony was where we sat back and relaxed.

We had a great girls weekend at Melissa’s. The property was the perfect size for 4 and was very convenient! Ear plugs and white noise machines really helped with the street noise. Melissa was very responsive and helpful.
