Monthly Rentals in Cheriton Fitzpaine

We had a very nice time and opportunity to switch off from everyday life. The location is very quiet. The Unterkunt has been very cozy furnished by Gail and offers plenty of space if the weather is bad. The NP Dartmoor and Exmoor are accessible, but you should avoid side roads (single track!), as you may have to drive back in oncoming traffic. There are also some walking paths around the village. The two black dogs are very cuddly, connection is guaranteed! All in all, perfect for a break!

We booked Redyeates Farm for a family get-together. The accommodation is across two adjacent buildings and both were beautifully presented. We had great weather which meant the whole family could spend time out doors in the garden area, playing lots of games, such as croquet, and making good use of the tennis court. We ate at the house, except to visit the local pub on the Sunday lunchtime which was good. The location is a little 'remote' and as the lanes are narrow with high hedges, we felt it safest to drive into Chriton Fitzpaine rather than walk. Also there are no footpaths from the property across local fields to the village so walking options are limited. Lorraine and Morley our hosts met us and were very helpful, explaining what's what. They have an 'Honesty Shop' at the property which can be useful should you forget to bring or buy something. Our weekend was a great success, with both a combination of good weather, great property, and friendly and helpful hosts.

5 star stay ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely beautiful property, clean and well presented. Fantastic communication, directions and instructions on entering property. Peaceful location, I’ve worked out of town staying in a lot of different properties and this by far out does them all!

We had an amazing stay for 3 nights at the Granary with our kids. We got a warm welcome from the lovely cat couscous! The place was clean, spacious, tidy and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. There were enough of board games, books and toys as well as outdoor space to keep the kids entertained. The hosts Karl and Helena were very friendly and helpful. Their son was also very kind and friendly with our kids, even sharing some of his stuff to play. This quiet location was ideal for us to explore north Devon and the Exmoor areas. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, highly recommended.
