Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Cheshire

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but what a little gem! We will definitely be booking again. It was such a great and unique experience-like camping, but much better! The shed was so cosy and peaceful, we could have sat there all day just listening to the birds. We had everything we needed and loved the little fire pit outside. Showering with a view of the trees was quite a memorable experience too! We walked to Bridgenorth from the shed, which was stunning-through the woods and past some picturesque houses. This is somewhere we will always remember staying.

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

Lovely hut, the kids had a fun night in the bunk bed. Great to have shower room.

Amazing place! Unbelievable amount of effort has gone into the craftsmanship of the huts and the whole area of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodlands. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

I booked this lovely shepherds hut for my husband’s birthday and it was bliss. Suzanne has been a great host, helping us settle in and she even popped round to give my husband a birthday card. The shepherds hut is a peaceful place to relax, you have the birds to admire and other farm animals to view out the window. Such a lovely friendly couple, couldn’t do enough to help. Loved all the small personal touches - fresh eggs and milk, homemade flapjacks, even down to the little sticker on the toilet roll! Would defo recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay 😊

Blissful! The hut had everything we needed for a short stay and was well stocked with basic amenities. But more than anything what stood out to us was the beauty of the location. Truly idyllic. If we didn't have somewhere to be in the day, we would have very happily stuck around and relaxed.

A beautiful and peaceful location away from the masses. The cabin was clean and cosy with all the basics provided. Very private with great outdoor space.

Tam was a great host with excellent communication. The railway cabin was well presented and in an ideal location, perfect for a few nights away in the Peak District.

Brilliant stay, host extremely helpfully and had set the hut up beautifully. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days in peace and quiet.

This ticked the box on every level. Was exactly as photo’d. The host checked in to make sure we were okay via the message service. It was very private and so peaceful. We came to canoe across the aqueduct which was only a 5 minute drive away. We ate out using the recommendations given and we were not disappointed. We also then visited the castle ruins and also Chirk Castle. The hut was clean and had everything we needed, even milk for a cuppa! I highly recommend stopping here. We certainly would again

The best holiday we ever had in The UK in 10 years we've been here. We celebrated our 2 years relationship anniversary and we enjoyed every single second spent here! Alphie, our 7 years old Huksy also had a great time! We managed to do a lot of walking, hiking and even found lots of blueberries up the mountain. Stunning location, nice little stream, amazing hot tub, comfy bed, very clean kitchen with everything we needed & a hot shower. Couldn't be more perfect! Highly recommend all year round to everyone who loves nature & peace.

We had a wonderful stay, it was so peaceful and private. We would 100% recommend to anyone to visit! We loved that we could let our dog roam around with the peace of mind that she was safe while we enjoyed the hot tub. James was incredibly helpful and answered all our messages so quickly! We loved that there was a list of things to do and places to eat, it made it so easy for us to narrow down what to do. The shepherds hut itself was spotless and had everything we needed! We loved the added details of coffee and logs for the fire being provided. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

Hannah’s place is totally idyllic. Beautiful accommodation, stunning views and super peaceful. Had everything we could need and more. Hannah was a brilliant host, very communicative and came and showed us the ropes, very welcoming. Homemade chocolate cake was gifted to us and it was delicious - definitely keen to stay again!

Well appointed accommodation in a quiet rural location. Only 15 mins walk to the Pontcysyllte Acquesuct and 8 mins drive to Llangollen. Russell is a friendly and welcoming host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, making the most of the BBQ and the lovely outdoor seating area. It's a great base for the outdoor activities , whether it be canoeing across the Aqueduct or walking to Castel Dinas Bran. We took in the Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry.

What a beautiful little getaway! David and Jackie were fantastic hosts, friendly and responsive. The Meadow View Hut was situated in the perfect location, offering gorgeous views, sights of birds of prey and deer. The location was private, peaceful and exactly what you want to unwind to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you for making this great place available!

Wow! Stayed here for two nights for an anniversary break away. The location is amazing and the set up is fantastic. Loved how there were distinct little areas i.e. sleeping lodge, living and cooking, outdoor spa type area.. the dream! The accomodation is really secluded and at the other end of the lake from the other two lodges, so felt super special! Fishing peg available there and we caught a couple and lost a few more! Hosts are super lovely, really responsive and kind (leaving welcome bits and grabbing us a brolly to help with not being drenched leaving!). Has everything you need for a special break away. Will be my 'mindful space' for some time to come! ❤️ Hope to visit again soon!

We let ourselves in through the gate as instructed and parked up, Beth came out to greet us and show us around, The hot tub was still filling so the water is definitely changed between every visit. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils and the views are stunning, We stayed for 1 night only but wished we stayed longer, Will definitely return for a longer stay to take in the beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful few nights stay at Blackthorn Hideaway. The shepherds hut is peaceful, as gorgeous as it looks in the photos, and the kitchen is well equipped. Liz is such a great host - very responsive to messages, had great recommendations of where to eat, walk, and visit, but she gave us our privacy. We had a restful few days, and left feeling recharged. Thanks Liz!

Beautiful place to stay. Shepards hut was cosy and well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the copper bath. Enjoyed exploring the local area.
