The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

Thank Serenella for hosting us. The apartment was pristine, view was beautiful, basket was full of complimentary items. Anyone that needs some time to collect themselves and be away from civilizition and think things through, this is the spot! Thanks again .

The location of the accommodation is truly heavenly and completely private! We felt very comfortable there and it was very clean. The bedroom is in the basement and therefore always nice and cool. Silvano is very nice and always very easy to reach. We would come again and again! Thank you

We stayed at Casa Michele for 2 weeks. A beautiful and spacious house in a quiet village. A small supermarket is next to the house and has sandwiches and other basic things every day. Around the corner, you can rent a boat via Boat2Go. A few houses away there is a bar/cafe/restaurant and at the lake, which is a few streets away, there is a bar and restaurant. Here we had breakfast, cappuccino and croissant, right on the lake in a beautiful location. From the village you can do a few beautiful walks and hikes, from sturdy to heavy. In the house, there is everything available such as a coffee machine with coffee, dishwasher, a TV with Netflix, good beds and a washing machine. There was no kettle, but Michele bought one for us. There is a basic pan set. We cooked a few times ourselves and went out for the rest. Milan and Monza (circuit) can be reached within an hour. Furthermore, the environment is very beautiful. We have had a nice time.

The place was great, made me feel just like home, with great amenities and spotless clean. Federico was a great host, friendly, easy to talk. The location is just great, walkable distance from main objectives of the city. If I come again in Como, i would choose the same location :) Thank you for a great experience

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

The accommodation was probably the most beautiful we had ever booked on airbnb! The house is very cozy, beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped. We were warmly welcomed by Joel and Patricia, they showed us everything and were always available for our questions. It had fresh bread, champagne, coffee, tea, pasta, everything you need and so lovingly! The beautiful terrace was also great for relaxing after hiking. We will be happy to come back :-)!!

Luisella and her husband were very friendly and helpful getting us settled. They took the time to share recommendations for restaurants and hikes. They also had a map handy and wrote out the places they were recommending. The house was fabulous and in a great location - loved being able to listen to the nearby waterfall when we had our windows open. Also appreciated ability to walk to downtown Varenna. It was only a 20 minute walk and preferred to have a house in a quieter place. Our stay was perfect in every way!

Villa Fede is absolutely the perfect stay to explore Lake Como. Michela is very helpful, thoughtful and an incredible host. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation, which perfectly matched the description. The charm asset: the spa and the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the lake 😍 A big thank you to the co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in the exchanges before, during and after our stay. Wonderful place. Surrounded by nature. In the morning you wake up to the chirping of birds and breathtaking views of the mountains and valley. The accommodation is small but beautiful, equipped with all comforts and necessary to relax and fully enjoy nature and the mountains. Lounge chairs, heated pool, manicured lawn and garden, a box to listen to good music, television and skylight on the starry sky. Luca and family were super hosts. Affable, kind and super available to accommodate our requests. We also enjoyed the breakfast included with homemade bread and blueberry and raspberry tarts produced by them and a dinner at home prepared by them super good. In short, everything is perfect! Thank you so much for hosting us.

Our stay in Alessandras apartment was amazing. The place is exactly as seen in photos and you are less than 60 seconds from the lake. The views nearby are amazing! Alessandra was very responsive, offering recommendations and doing all she could to be of assistance. I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was good. Unfortunately it wasn't quite clean. Nevertheless, it was otherwise a great stay.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Palazzo Giani is a beautiful place to stay. The apartment has all you need and was spotless and comfortable. Living in the old town was delightful. Surrounded by wonderful shops and trattorias we had an endless choice of places to go. The Mastai pasticceria was exceptional and Francesca provided a discount card to use there. That was very considerate. The scenery is breathtaking. The mountains loom large above the beautiful town with all the colourful floral window boxes in contrast. We wish we could have stayed longer. Such a beautiful place in wonderful town. We had a really great stay here and the communication was excellent. Our only note was the bathroom ceiling was very low but my partner and I are tall! Other than this it was the perfect place to call home. Thank you! ✨

Place was perfect to stay overnight and I guess would be also great to stay more. Windows are looking at small square which absolutely gorgeous and romantic. Everywhere mountains and beautiful nature. Parking spot is really close and convenient. Close to the apartment, by walking 10 minutes or by car 3 minutes, there are 2 big grocery stores.

We had wonderful two nights in this accommodation. The apartment is pretty small, but so cosy, adorable and it had everything we needed. The bed comes out of the wall (kind of), but it was very, very comfortable. Claudio was responding quickly and even with our 2 hour delay for check-in because of traffic, he was very understanding and waited for us. He welcomed us into the apartment and explained everything. We even received cookies as a present. Absolutely unbelievable surrounding. Heaven on Earth. I definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you Claudio.

We had a great stay in this place. It is super central, right in the middle of the city. everything accessible by foot. also easy parking close-by. We would definitely recommend to stay there :)

We could not recommend Antonietta’s place enough! Not only was Antonietta incredibly welcoming and flexible for our late check-in, but she was on hand for our whole stay if we needed her, Antonietta was a highlight of our whole trip, her warm hospitality is unmatched! The place itself is beautiful, the view takes your breath away and a perfect base for exploring Menaggio. Antonietta gave us clear instructions for walking down into town which is really easy, however it is uphill on the way back! Everything was clean, the bed was super comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Perfect location for exploring Lake Como and quieter than the usual tourist hotspots. Don’t hesitate, this is the place to stay in Menaggio! Thank you so much Antonietta, we will be back!

The apartment is very nice and cozy. All rooms are very nice. The apartment is super clean, the beds comfortable. Barbara and her husband are very likable and friendly. The apartment is very quietly located close to Chiavenna with good restaurants. The hiking opportunities are also good. You can also quickly get to the Bergell, where there are also nice hikes. We can recommend the apartment 100%.
