Holiday rentals with a pool in Clayton

Beautiful location that’s easy to get to and far enough away from main roads, but close enough to easily experience everything the area has to offer. Great small private community that would never even know existed if you didn’t drive back this house.

John's unit was a very nice place to stay. Everything we needed was available and easily accessed. Location was perfect for all the amenities /restaurants/hiking/shopping. We would highly recommend this place to stay for your visit to the western Carolina mountains. John was responsive and available when needed. Come to Sapphire Valley for a great vacation.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

This place was our favorite place to stay in all our families vacations. The house was just beautiful. So open! My parents came and stayed for two nights, and they felt right at home. My children stayed downstairs, and loved the games! My husband and I loved the master and the master bathroom. The couch is super comfy! We used the hot tub every evening. There is a lot to do in the area, Sliding Rock is one of our favorite getaway excursions, about 45 minutes away. Coming back from 55 degrees cold water, the hot tub was wonderful! There is so much to say about this home, it was perfect for our family. The kitchen is top of the line, and laundry room is right off the kitchen, which makes it nice and convenient to wash clothes. Having a family of 6, laundry is a must! Also, the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities is GREAT for families! We rented a John boat to go fishing on Fairfield Lake, the view is stunning! We have fallen in love with this home and already booked again for next year!

This place is beautiful and pretty much exactly as described. The rental experience was excellent and Steven was incredibly responsive. I only have a few minor recommendations. First, for such a large house the lone refrigerator is quite small for our golf group’s needs as we like to gather, cook and eat together every night, which made storing all the different foods (in conjunction with all the adult beverages) challenging. Would strongly recommend a larger refrigerator or perhaps a second one downstairs like a few of the other houses we rented had. The other comment would be that a grill and flattop grill are both shown in a few pictures but there was no grill to be found. burgers and dog night was cooked on the flattop and barbecue night had to. Be prepared at a different house with a grill. No big deal or inconvenience but either remove the grill picture or get one. Otherwise Steven was an incredible host and the house itself was a 5 star experience. Highly recommend this house.

This was a return trip to this area and stay in this cottage. We have stayed in the Dogwood and 3 bedroom cottage next door which is also hosted by Carly. Pllan to reserve soon for a summer trip.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was close to the lake and the pool was perfect for the kids. I would 100% stay here again.

Lise was a flexible and responsive host. The home was very clean. There were supplies on hand to use. On a quiet culdasac and was very peaceful. Beds were comfy too.

Gary's place was so quiet and peaceful. we enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the golfers come through. Would definitely stay here again.

Glen’s place was perfect! Instructions for the house were very clear and helpful. Close to the lake and surrounded by a bunch of great amenities. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful location. Highly recommend a stay at Glen’s.

We booked last minute and by that, a day and a half before we arrived. Darlene responded within minutes and made arrival so easy with perfect directions/information. Darlene checked in with us during our visit and with the welcome packet Darlene sent us, I had minimal if any questions. The place exceeded our expectations and was so very close to the club and all the amenities. View was beyond! The only negative was we never saw a bear. 😂 We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at "Golden Tee". The kids loved the loft, and the lake was so convenient. A little slice of heaven! Thanks!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came with our 4 year old and our teenager. Both of them had a great time and had plenty of things to do that they both enjoyed, which is not usually the case with their age gap. The place itself had lots of toys and books for my toddler and her own bed. There were also games to play with my teenager as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house had all the little details like beach towels, an airfryer, and a picnic basket. The screened porch was a favorite location for all us to enjoy. We even saw a bear one day from the porch! The resort was a blas!. We utilized both in the indoor and outdoor pools, the mini golf, and the lake. We had no problem finding good food at the restaurants around us and the store was super close as well. We spent half of our time at the resort and half of it out exploring the nature surrounding us. There were sooo many waterfalls to see. It is such a beautiful area, we will most definitely be coming back!

Lisa went out of her way to make her condo a great 'home away from home' experience. She was very personable and it was obvious that she loved being a great host, after all, she is great at it! We don't travel a lot, so it was very important to us that this was going to be a memorable experience. It was that, and more. I won't hesitate to make a return visit.

Another enjoyable stay in Captain's Cove, and David is truly a 'superhost' - clear communications and the unit is perfect for a short stay.
