Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

Southlands Farm is in a perfect spot: a rural location renowned for its outstanding natural beauty but close to charming seaside towns.

It has gas fired central heating and is situated in a private road on the west side of Seaton and has the advantage of off road parking.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

A 5 minute drive to Seaton and 15 minute drive to the stunning coastal towns of Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Sidmouth . Colyton (Devon's most rebellious town) in AONB boasts some lovely places to eat and the tramway is only a short walk away. River Cottage is also a 10 minute drive from Colyton, near Axminster. We live on a working dairy farm, we have wonderful views of the Umbourne Valley.
