Family-friendly holiday rentals in Cookeville

Tuscany Inn is really lovely and well-thought out. If something isn't provided your hosts will find a way to get it to you. Communication was wonderful even before we got there. The rooms/cabins (we rented the combo) were absolutely perfect for us and our daughter. Esther's food is REALLY good. The hot tubs were clean. There were plenty of towels. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if only to hang with the hosts. The only negatives as at were: (1) the walking "trail" on the property wasn't mowed and the grass was so high I abandoned trying. We never took our dog there because it was just too overgrown. (2) Be aware that the owners have two dogs who are incredibly sweet to people but not necessarily to other animals. When we took our dog out, we'd round theirs up and put them inside - not a hardship but something to be aware of as the dogs would come to the fence of our cabin and one would growl at our dog. Just something to think about if you're bringing your own pet.

We had four people staying in the condo, it was a perfectly sized space to accommodate us. It was extremely clean, and we had everything we needed for the weekend. We did bring our own snacks and food to prepare meals, which I would recommend doing! We really appreciated seeing staff being mindful and practicing precautions the entire stay. When we arrived, we did have to wait about an hour after check-in as it wasn’t ready yet. And our wristband/keycards weren’t properly activated so they sent a maintenance person to fix that, who was very helpful. We got to see two baby raccoons from the back porch as soon as we arrived though, so we didn’t mind. Would highly recommend this stay for a quiet getaway!! We had a great time.

I didn't want to leave! I was so at peace there! Esther and Tammy were so amazing and the dogs and cats were so friendly too. Esther went above and beyond with her homemade Italian food. I'm a very picky eater but I ate Everthing she made, and wanted more! my favorite part (besides the amazing food) was the private salt water hot tub while looking at the stars and listening to the crickets. We can't wait to go back soon!

Loved my stay here. Peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Cabin was very nice had nice extra touches. Would have loved to have had time to do some of the trails maybe next time, which there will most definitely be one. Oh and the hot tub was heaven

This was a beautiful location in peaceful Celina. Walkable distance to the lake and with beautiful views out back. It’s very spacious, and we loved our stay here!

This place was perfect for a leadership retreat. It offered great accommodations in a peaceful setting. This was our second time to stay here and we were not disappointed. FYI…we drove 12 minutes to Chestnut Oaks Farm Table & Restaurant for a great meal one night.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We liked it so much that we hope to be back soon. The place was as described. It was roomy and squeaky clean. It had everything you could possibly need or want.

Really great place to stay. About 20min from the boat launch at Dale Hallow. House is tucked back in the hills with great views!

My boyfriend and I spent three nights at Anna’s Cottage. It was just we needed, to get out of the city and into a quiet and peaceful environment. You’re on a farm, but 15 minutes from Great food and so many options as well! We went to Rock Island and Burgess Falls with a short drive. The house is so cozy and with so much history, is one of a kind!!!

We stayed at the Enchanted Forest over the 2017 eclipse weekend. The forest is beautiful and very secluded, we didn't hear anything besides the sounds of the woods. Owls, frogs, hawks, etc. The campsite is very comfortable and it's next to a rocky creek in a stand of tall hemlock trees. It's much better than a campground, it's like having an entire forest to yourself for awhile.

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

The house is close to the Lake and restaurants are just a few minutes away. Very easy to get too and plenty of parking for our boats. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Jeanelle is a great host.

If your looking for a place to unwind from life, this home is where you need to stay! It has all the amenities that you will need and is close to several attractions when you want to play! Being in the area to visit with family it met all our expectations! But the best feature is the covered porch with a swing - you really won’t want to leave!

We stayed for 4 months during the winter and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were looking for a peaceful & quiet getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. It was so comfy and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee in the sunroom over looking the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi was super fast, lots of TV channels. There’s no cell service, but with the fast wifi you didn’t really need it. We were sad to leave! Would definitely come back, and absolutely recommend Melissa’s place for anyone who wants a peaceful escape.

Very secluded, but I felt very safe being on the back side of their property. Dan and his wife both showed me out to the cabin which was situated right in the middle of the most beautiful area of wilderness! I was making a last minute stop, driving with my dog from Houston up to New York and I didn't want my dog to have to deal with a hotel room. This was the perfect solution. Quiet and comfy. It is very dark, so if you plan on arriving after sundown be sure to bring a flashlight! They do have some string lights but I had to use to my phone to navigate the bathroom. Great find!

The location and stay were perfect for the area to visit family while also have a genuine getaway to decompress and enjoy the insurmountable hiking trails and scenery. The peacefulness of the space was amazing and created a wonderful opportunity to rest.

This place is absolutely awesome! Looked exactly like the photos. Very peaceful! My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and if we are ever needing to stay in the Crossville area again we will definitely be staying here again!

Great condo with everything you need! Incredibly clean and well appointed. For my family, the proximity to the lake was key in our selection... made it easy to spend every day on the water. Lara was very easy to work with and I would definitely return to this condo in the future!

Had a great stay while I was there it is in a great area and there are stores and many of things close by, i felt at home. I will deff be staying again
