Lynn is a great host. Very friendly and accommodating. The property is in a lovely village with a thriving community and there are walks from the house.

I really enjoyed my stay at Helena's. The space was fantastic, very clean and well stocked, and in a beautiful setting - both in the grounds of the house and the village. It was really convenient to get to Oxford both on the train and driving. There are plenty of pubs to choose from and a Co-op a short walk away. I can highly recommend staying at Helena's and hope to return again soon!

Everything was just perfect. Very easy checkin, clear instructions on how to use everything, beautifully furnished with great amenities, loved that we could buy local produce too. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be at one with nature and have a few days to switch off. We will definitely be back!!

We had such a lovely stay! We arrived to lots of small additional touches, which made the stay very special. The hut was also incredibly comfortable and serene with it’s views overlooking the fields. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Such a lovely host also, would definitely recommend!! x

Beautiful location perfectly clean and comfortable . Slight disturbance due to busy road noise but other than that the perfect place to stay.

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

our second visit to donnas place loved it the frist time loved it even more this time, friendly welcoming, nothing was to much hassle, will definitely be returning again and again, lovely peaceful location, break away from the busy hussle of work life. worth every penny, highly recommended

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Ros and her husband have clearly gone above and beyond to make this shepherds hut lovely. The hut is fantastic - very comfortable and very well stocked. The breakfast was tasty. The area is very beautiful and there is lots of information in the hut about local walks and pubs with clear instructions. Thank you!

Our second visit and it won’t be our last. Perfect for visiting Bath and Cheddar Gorge. Exactly as described. Warm and cozy all night. We love your Pretty Shed and will recommend to all. Thanks for having us again.

Me and my partner went with the dog, we had one of the best times in this spot, really relaxing to be at the pod and then travelling around the villages was lots of fun. Was always nice to come back to the lovely pod! The kitchen had everything you needed as well

We had a superb stay at The Pod. It was ideal for our 2 night visit. It was spotlessly clean and in such a lovely private rural area with loads of wildlife all around. Great parking facility and all the conveniences you could want. We so enjoyed our stay and would most definitely book again. Thank you Kirsty

We loved every minute of our stay at Foxtrot. Shelagh is such a lovely lady who has a fantastic eye for detail and really looks after her guests. We were expecting a small space and just needed a bed for a couple of nights, but it was so gorgeous that we didn’t want to leave. It was all so beautifully designed and tastefully done with absolutely everything we could possibly need. We woke up to see the sheep and birds through the patio doors and could sit outside or inside to watch them. We then discovered a pair of binoculars and ID guide and a book with bird calls to help us identify everything. Highly recommended in every aspect - not enough characters available to tell you everything - just stay and be delighted! Shelagh has a small pottery studio next door and makes the most beautiful mugs and jugs which are very reasonably priced and are for sale as well as for use in the cottage.

Marlies was great from the moment I booked the Airbnb. She’s been so helpful, lovely and responsive throughout so it’s been a pleasure to have met her and stayed at such a nice peaceful place!

Excellent accommodation. Really comfortable with superb views. Hot tub was an extra special treat. Great pub with good food 5 minutes away in a gorgeous village. Host was lovely, friendly and really helpful. Would recommend.

This was a delightful spot in a picturesque village setting. Eleanor was very helpful and an excellent host. She recommended the local pub for dinner and we had an excellent meal. You can’t go wrong with this little gem.

The Orchard Barn is an amazing place to stay. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Extremely private and quiet. It is close to Bath and Bradford on Avon which is worth a visit. We walked to the Quarryman pub and had lovely food, an extra bonus was we were able to charge our car. Thank you Deb and hubby. We will be back.

A very cosy barn in a beautiful surroundings. Close to Chipping Campden and stunning views from Dover's hill and easy access onto the Cotswold Way. Has everything you need for a relaxing escape in the country although the mattress is on the firm side.

My Girlfriend and I were looking for a beautiful nature retreat. The Hide was exactly what we were searching for. Amazing location with so much to do nearby yet very private and amongst the wilderness. With dear roaming outside and the morning bird song it was perfect. Immaculate and well looked after, we had zero problems or complaints.

A wonderful place - the hut is so cosy, has everything you need, and is in a beautiful peaceful spot. We also loved Bruce the cat :)

The photos look great and it was even better! Extremely friendly and attentive hosts; kind; thoughtful and the pod had a high attention to detail (small things stood out- 2 lighters for the hot tub / fire; freshly ground coffee; oil spray for the bbq; tin foil (just when I forgot to buy some). High quality toiletries, linen, etc. Some places economise so much that it can detract from the experience, but NOT Upper Hen! Perfect stay and I loved having no WiFi. I really needed a digital detox. Please note that one of the reasons this is unique and special is because it is fairly isolated and required a c10 mins walk up and down a couple of fields. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks to Jen and Simon!
