Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Davidson River

The home was beautiful and super peaceful. Only downside was getting to and from places is a bit of a drive with winding roads. Was anticipating a little closer to main area of Brevard. Hosts were super responsive and accommodating

This was one of the best airbnbs we stayed at in Brevard - our son plays baseball at Brevard College and we have been traveling to Brevard for 4 years - the home was very clean - Marisa was great - we could not figure out how to adjust the ceiling fans so her husband came by to take a look and he went out and got new batteries which we were fine doing but he wanted to - very impressed! Very nice and easy to communicate with. The house is adorable.

we loved this little house! it was perfectly located between Brevard & Hendersonville. the neighborhood felt safe for us. (2 elderly sisters) The beds were very comfortable. and the house was stocked with everything we needed. and given the opportunity, we'd stay here again. Jerica was a wonderful host and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend. this sweet little house!

I very rarely give 5 stars for a property, as most hosts these days have no attention to detail. Lisa's place is the exception! The house was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The deck, firepit (with firewood), and bike storage are great features. This house would be ideal for a family of four or five, but it would probably be tight for two families given that the bedrooms are small.

What a cool mountain hideaway! The location was convenient to town, as well as to hiking, mountain biking and fishing. The house itself is roomy and comfy but our favorite hang-out spot was the outside area, with its covered seating area, fireplace AND fire pit (and wood-fired pizza oven!). There's also a little wood stove on the covered porch, another wood stove in the "parlor" area of the living room and even a gas fireplace. If you like sitting by the fire, this is the place for you! Alas, a bit too warm during our late-spring stay for fires. We heard neighbors a couple times but otherwise it was almost eerily quiet up there. The hosts were super communicative and helped ensure check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Next time I'm back in the Brevard area this will be my first choice for home base. Five stars all the way!

We had a perfect family vacation at this beautiful home! Each bedroom had a luxurious ensuite, walk-in closet, and the bedding made it feel like a high-end hotel. The soaking tubs were a relaxing surprise. My daughter loved her own private upstairs space with a bedroom, bathroom, and TV area. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked—with spices, coffee beans, a French press, and more. We enjoyed mornings on the front porch, evenings by the fire pit with s’mores, and the short walk to local shops, restaurants, and even a movie. The upstairs games were a hit too! We can’t wait to come back—next time for a girls’ trip!

I did a last minute booking David’s listing. Entering worked fine for needing a place to stay for one night. Bed is comfy, pillows are flat, dust in the corners of the bathroom. But tv’s are huge and there is a keurig! I was not impressed with the cleaning fee added if you did not completely make your own bed again after you slept in it. Although looking back, it does say in the description, I still think it should’ve been fully disclosed earlier on in the description of the Airbnb. Regardless, overall good experience…Just remember to make your own bed!

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

What a wonderful little place to stay. Private, clean, and close enough to town. Some parts of the cottage (pool, bathroom, and part of kitchen) were recently renovated and were even nicer than the photos. Harry was very responsive with any questions. It was a pleasure staying here and I hope to visit again.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

This was our second stay we have stayed on both sides of the Airbnb and we absolutely loved them both it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed 😊

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

Josh was very flexible and responsive for a last minute stay. The backyard is beautiful and we felt right at home. Josh also gave lots of great recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville!

If you need a place to get away from the traffic and everyday obligation of work and just need a peaceful reset, this is the place. From the beautiful scenery surrounding you and the sound of the river below, you can feel the stress melt away. The cabin was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Catherine is a great host and very accommodating. We will definitely book again when we need to recharge and plan on trying to book in the fall because this place has to look amazing when the leaves start changing colors. Thanks again Catherine for a wonderful place and can’t wait to come see you and this wonderful place again.

Wish i could give it 10 stars! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the treehouse and it may become our annual trip! It was amazingly private. Very romantic. Also the hot tub and fire pit were amazing. We even cancelled our fancy dinner reservation just to get more time at the property. Our host was amazing also and made the trip all the more better!

We loved our time at the cabin and would totally come back again. It was uncluttered, super clean, very cozy, the bed was amazing, kitchen stocked with essentials. We cooked our own dinner over the fire and in the stove and it was perfect. We loved the record collection! Such a fun touch. We hope to come and stay again soon.

We had a quick stay for camp drop off. Very comfortable home and beds. Clear instructions for getting there and staying.

This property was literally Heaven on earth. The view is amazing, the property was beautiful, clean and comfortable. I didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back with our dog as the proper is very dog friendly.

We enjoyed our weekend at the “little house”! There is a lot to do nearby and Jessica provided several recommendations. The home is perfect for 2 people and is very peaceful. It is easy to get to if you follow Jessica’s instructions!

The Blue Heron was amazing. We spent so much time out on the deck taking in the peaceful surroundings. Driving to Ashville was simple. Beth makes the best bread. We had homemade butter and cream. We had eggs from the farm. We recommend that you walk to the farm. The farm animals are responsive to visitors and put on a show!!!

Beautiful views and discreet location! Me and my wife spent our honeymoon here, and it was so peaceful! highly recommend!
