The cottage is about a 5 minute drive to town, so you have the advantage of being peacefully out in the country enjoy the dark night sky full of stars. There are 3 AC window units in the Cottage, the Living room, the Master and the Kitchen, the house easily cools to 70 degrees on a hot day.

PLEASE NOTE: due to the ongoing drought, large sections of the Blanco river are dry, including ours! The River House is a stone house set above the Blanco river among huge oak trees. From the quaint, screened entry porch to the large deck with oak trees rising through it, the River House is a relaxing space for you to while away the hours. Kick back with your favorite beverage, put something on the grill and relax to the sounds of nature. And the stars are awesome!

Lone Star Cottage - 15 minutes to downtown

We offer a relaxing experience with a country feeling only 15 minutes to downtown Austin or lake Travis. The cottage is brand new, 900 sq ft and located on 2/3 acre property. The cottage is about 15 minutes to downtown or to Lake Travis, in a non incorporated neighborhood with less street lights, more star gazing and great bird watching! You will most likely wake up to birds chirping and see hawks, blue jays and cardinals among others. Maybe deer too if you're lucky.
