Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dunedin

Kathleens place is clean and tidy. A little bit quirky, house is on a bit of a lean hence beds on a bit of a lean too. Pretty view over the park to the harbour. Little bit of a distance to town to walk than expected, sp reallyyou need a car, and ltd street parking on the street, but parking nearby is easy. Spacious with 2 bedrooms and living area. Peacful.

This was a perfect stay for our family. The suburb is lovely and quiet, great set of shops cafe etc literally a 1min walk away. The view over the harbour was stunning at any time of day. Lots of kids toys, books and games for entertainment. The high chair was so handy and also other bits and pieces for young babies. The GHD accessories were such a welcome treat! The beds were so comfortable and warm, fantastic linen and the thermal curtains we were very glad for. Would definitely stay here again

Rohits place is lovely and cosy, warm once you put the heating on. Private to their house. Has everything you need to heat food just a microwave so you are unable to cook. But everything else is provided. No tv but we came prepared with laptops. Waverley is a lovely area with a takeaway and cafe very close.

A real nice place to stay, specially if you have time to explore the grounds and gardens. Erin communicates really well and is very helpful. Good breakfast options were provided. A bit far from the Dunedin city but still convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at Shaun and Helen’s air b&b. We particularly loved the wood burner. It was so cosy and warm and exactly what we wanted for a rainy long weekend. We recommend seeing the sea lions at Sandfly Bay, visiting the Cove Cafe, and 1908 restaurant down the road. Thank you again and we would highly recommend to friends and family!

We felt right at home in this lovely house. A lot of care and pride shows. We loved it and would stay again if we were ever to come back this way.

I spent a month at Nadine's house and absolutely loved it. A perfect "home away from home" with everything you need, as described. I was there in the autumn and would love to be there in the warmer months so I could make use of the nice deck and outdoor areas. The house was very nicely situated on the flat in North East Valley, a two minute walk from the bus stop to the city, and also from Chingford Park. I didn't have a car, and it was easy to cycle there from the campus and city on the flat. Nadine and her husband Jake were very helpful and always responded quickly if I ever had any questions about anything. I would definitely stay there again.

I had a great stay – the apartment is clean, cosy, and very well-equipped, with everything you need. Dave was very responsive and helpful when I had an issue, which I really appreciated. The place is also really well located, I could walk to every interesting spot in Dunedin. Just a heads-up: the area can be a bit noisy, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Thanks again for the great hospitality!

Such a lovely spot, felt very homely and was described exactly as it was. Host was flexible with checking in/out which was great. About 15 mins drive from Dunedin centre which was perfect for us. Would go back any time!

Mary's Airbnb was well worth it. Comfortable and everything you need for short stay. The house also heats well and keeps you cozy in the winter weather. The location is fantastic, a short walk away from most attractions, although I wouldn't recommend it in the winter rain! I had a query pop up and asked Mary who was very responsive and made it easy for me to solve.

Loved staying here, the views are great and could look out the windows all day. Loved the character of the house. Very tasteful. Beds comfortable

Lovely little studio, Maja and Gilbert were lovely to deal with and went over and beyond to make things comfortable. Great location with a small steady walk up a hill from the octagon

The apartment was close to the Centre. It was a short bus ride. Everything was pretty much walkable to the major attractions.

We were after somewhere to stay that had easy access to the Otago peninsula and albatross centre. This place was ideal for these. Apartment was great. Good kitchen and bedrooms. Just what we needed. Samans mother was there to let us in and show us around.
