Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location with a view of the Bamberg City Hall, stylishly furnished with antiques. The front building was erected in 1530, and the water side followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house that was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The facade was restored in May 2026 with a lot of love for detail and now shines again in full splendor next to the city hall. The house was purchased by my grandparents in 1968; before that, it was a pharmacy for 200 years.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a former schoolhouse dating from 1888. The apartment is ideally located between Franconian Switzerland (a popular climbing and hiking area), Erlangen (university, Siemens) and Nuremberg (trade fair, Christmas market). First of all, of course, the flagship of your berth: a cozy double bed (dimensions: 1.60 m x 2.00 m); in the shallow waves behind it, a spacious bathroom with shower/toilet. At the back, the armada of a fully equipped galley with a small cozy seating area. A place with its own style.

Modern, newly renovated, quiet and fully equipped one bedroom apartment in a very good location. In addition, I offer two bikes that can be used free of charge by you. The bathroom is large and the kitchenette is separated from the sleeping area. By foot it is only about 15 minutes to the old town, you walk along the river. There is free parking. In the fully equipped kitchenette, there are two plates, as well as a microwave with baking function.

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farm, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful area of Franconian Switzerland. In the Engelschanze there are 2 separate apartments, which can also be booked as a unit for 8-10 people. The large garden can be used by all guests. It extends over the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own separate terrace with a view.
