Fantastic stay - the Shepard’s is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great location for southwest coastal path to either westward ho and Bideford, or Clovelly in the opposite direction. So much was through of, from usb charging sockets to welcome chocolate and biscuits, and enough kindling and logs for the entire stay to use on the fire pit, log burner in the hut. Cannot fault this hut or the stay, thank you!

We had a lovely stay in Travis, it was the perfect quiet weekend getaway. Nikki was a great host, sending lots of information before our stay and an information folder in the accommodation aswell. The accommodation was extremely clean and tidy and the hot tub was very easy to relight when needed. We will definitely be returning!

We had a truly wonderful time at Kate’s place so cosy and private and lovely walks on the doorstep. The weather wasn’t great but we were happy inside Pheasants Rest playing games and waiting for the rain to stop. Kate was very responsive to any query and very quick to 👍 We would definitely stay there again. Beautiful part of the country. It was worth every penny 😊👍

Ideal for two of us attending the music festival. Super place, easy to get around. Easy reach and friendly pub with great food. Comfortable barn conversion with everything we needed. We will very happily return in the future
