Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Flat Rock

Elizabeth’s place was wonderful. It was better than the pictures or the description provided. She had every amenity you could think of and each one was of top-quality. The house was cute and well decorated in a quiet historic neighborhood. I will definitely go back and rent from Elizabeth again. I would like to stay there for a longer period of time because it was so relaxing. It was convenient to get to downtown Hendersonville or easy to jump on the interstate and head to Asheville. She had plenty of literature about the surrounding areas available in the house. She also provided instructional manuals for the heating air, hot water heater, and the appliances. The backyard was cute with plenty of amenities of its own, including hammock and chairs. The front porch was darling, and a quiet cozy place to sit. The mattresses were comfortable as well as all the furniture was very usable and clean. I look forward to the next visit to Hendersonville and the elizabeth’s place.

I stayed for a couple weeks and needed a place that provided all amenities: kitchen, laundry. This cottage did all that and it was very clean and easy to get to.

I really loved staying in Liz’s cottage. It was so peaceful and private. A perfect home base for our girl’s trip to the North Carolina mountains. The little stream that runs behind the cottage was one of our favorite parts. A great place to have some quiet time in the morning. Liz was also so responsive and helpful to the questions that I had. I cannot recommend enough.

This was a lovely home with great views. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Even dropped off dishwasher liquid. Everything was clean and today and well laid out with instructions and helpful tips. There was a gas grill we used to barbecue and a fire pit. Privately location but fast access to stores and such. Highly recommend.

To say this spot was a gem is an understatement. I have stayed in places that have cost 3x this much in far more exotic places that didnt come close to the accomadating and kind nature of these 2 hosts. The home was beautifully clean and well kept and the garage was such a bonus for my situation of why i was there. I will make it a point to book with them whenever i am in the area even if im farther away.

We loved our stay at Villa Nirvana. It felt homey and comfortable, while also offering such a cool stylish retro charm. We loved having both a screened porch and uncovered porch with sitting and dining options for both. The remote-controlled fireplace was so nice to have, both for ambiance and an effective warmup all through the house. Even the bathroom was awesome — super clean, lots of storage with a very effective heater, good water pressure and a super helpful fold down bench. Oh yeah, and a huge washer and dryer came in handy as well! We stayed over a week and it was just so wonderful to have a place that really felt like a home (albeit one we aren’t likely to ever afford haha). Thanks again Barbara! Barbara was a wonderful host - a great combination of laid back and attentive.

Great location just a short drive ( 10 mins) to Hendersonville and 30 minutes to Brevard. Kitchen was well appointed with generous amount of silverware and cooking utensils. Open floor plan and well laid out living area. Just a short walk to the lake, which we enjoyed early morning and dusk strolls. Beds are comfy, with tvs in each bedroom. The hot tub was a nice added touch for sore legs after hiking and visiting Looking Glass Falls.

What a wonderful place! The host was amazing. She even went out of her way to help us when we got locked out. This was conveniently located four minutes from downtown with a ton to do! We will be back to stay at this place once we come back. Incredible experience and we LOVE Hendersonville. Amazing memories were made. Thank you!!!

Easy walking distance to downtown, decorated nicely and very clean. Donna stopped by to say hey. We enjoyed the little courtyard also.

I was so comfortable here- one of my favorite stays... cool shotgun style apartment with spacious kitchen/ living room and a roomy bathroom with a large bedroom (comfy king bed) in the back opening up into the patio area. The kitchen is great if you want to cook. very convenient location to Flat Rock, Hendersonville.

The place was great, even though it was a very quick stay. The mattresses were very comfortable, place was clean & inviting. My wife really admired their garden and has now decided we are adding a butterfly garden to our farmstead. We would def stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hendersonville this week! It’s always a pleasure to experience the small town culture in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We look forward to future trips to this lovely town and surrounding areas!

Beautiful location. Happy to be close to nature and trails. Very comfortable. Appreciated being able to cook meals.

We have nothing but good things to say about Muffi and Tim’s wonderful studio! The space was immaculately clean and very cozy. Muffi communicated often and made sure we felt comfortable reaching out with any questions we may have had. We also arrived after dark, and still had a very smooth arrival and it was very easy to locate the Studio due to Muffi’s instructions. We could not recommend this space enough, especially if you are hoping to visit downtown Asheville or the Biltmore Estate!

Everything was great at David’s place! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cozy and clean and felt very homey which is hard to find in a lot of bnb’s. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely be booking with him again, can’t recommend this place enough!

This place exceeded all our expectations! Our stay in Spartanburg for a wedding was absolutely wonderful. The accommodations were perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A big thank-you to Emily and her team for hosting such a lovely and welcoming place. Highly recommended!

Chad and Allison were fantastic hosts. The place is absolutely beautiful and lots of things for kids to do. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with lots of things to do, this is your spot. Will definitely book again.

I was in town for a few days and needed a place close to downtown! Randall’s air bnb was very close to where I wanted to be. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment but the beds were very comfy and there were plenty of towels for showering, etc. I also appreciated the blackout blinds in the bed rooms! Would definitely book again if I needed a place to stay here!
