Both the cabin and location were absolutely beautiful! Tucked away and private, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away. The hot tub worked perfectly, and was very clean. Highly recommend!

Even though it was a short stay for us, I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Simon’s hospitality was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay at Natasha’s. The house was perfect for my wife and myself on a short trip to get away and do some hiking. We enjoyed the great weather on several of the local trails. Excellent food in nearby Boone- we lived the Vicious Biscuit, Melanie’s, and the 105 Diner. The house was quiet, the hot tub was relaxing. We had a really great time- would definitely recommend.

The Greystone cabin is a beautiful, extremely well appointed home. We enjoyed using the kitchenware that was all top notch, as was everything else in the cabin. Lynn is a great host that other Airbnb hosts could learn from. She is extremely responsive and a wealth of information on the area. She’s also great to talk with and genuinely wants you to be happy staying in her home. We will definitely be back to finish our exploring and without question stay at the Greystone cabin.

Gorgeous view of grandfather mountain! The space was cute and tidy and the backyard space was by far the highlight! Loved the fire pit area and the lounge chairs where you could just lay under trees and watch the mountain. The bathroom was small for 2 people and the shower grout looked a little dirty. Other than that the stay was great and the location is awesome! We loved mountain dog coffee which is only ~5 minutes away!

Such a cute and cozy cabin perched on the side of a mountain! We visited during a rainy spell and spent a lot of time indoors, listening to the rain on the roof and enjoying the super comfy reclining sofa. We had one dry evening to spend down by the fire pit; we brought our own firewood but there were a few partial stacks left behind by previous guests as well. (The bucket to drown the fire was rusted out, so you might need to carry a big plastic bowl down from the kitchen for that.) The rain had also partially washed out the steeper sections of Longhope Rd between 194 and the cabin, so it was challenging (but doable) in our 2WD car. I'd recommend driving in from the Meat Camp Rd direction instead. The cabin was very clean, stocked with plenty of towels, and it was nice having a washer/dryer available. We did go out after the first night and buy ourselves some new pillows because the cabin ones were pretty flat! Overall a beautiful and peaceful spot and I definitely recommend it.

Being from coastal NC, this stay was an absolute dream come true for myself and my party. Can’t really put into words how magical looking over the valley with a cup of joe in the morning was. Property had some good walks and a nice fire pit, beds were comfortable and the shower was very spacious. There is an awesome swimming hole on the way up to the cabin on Anthony’s Creek that was one of the many highlights of our vacation. Really fell in love with the mountains this weekend. Would give 10/5 stars if I could. Thanks Steve, hope to return again for a fall adventure sometime soon.

The photos don't do this home and location justice! The home is very comfortable, clean, and had everything my family needed for a wonderful unplugged vacation. The yard and river were gorgeous and kept us all entertained. We had a fantastic stay and plan to come back next year. Highly recommend!

the Grove is a beautiful retreat inthe peace of the mountians. it has everything you need to make a wilderness adventure easy and fun. their is a perfect blend of easy living and wilderness living. make sure to bring some good food! fires are easily made and wildlife will come close in good ways! amazing fireflies! would highly reccomend!

Great host! Jared was responsive prior, during and after our stay. Everything was so cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed or expected. The fireplace was an added bonus and the view on the balcony was a great place to sit and have coffee in the morning. We felt secluded and peaceful and would love to stay there again!

The view!!!! Ken’s place is a great place to get some rest and listen to the sounds of nature. I loved sitting on the large deck and listening to the birds with no other noise pollution. There was a birds nest on the deck and enjoyed watching the parents feed the babies. Peaceful sums it up more than anything. It was clean and had everything we needed. I hope we get to visit Ken’s place again.

Wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.

Amazing home! Beautiful surroundings in a friendly neighborhood. Walked our 2 dogs daily and met neighbors. Lake in the area was wonderful and our grandkids had a blast! So close to many outdoor activities and the cool town of West Jefferson. This is a wonderful vacation home that accommodated our large family comfortably.

this was a fantastic trip, I loved every second of it! the hot tub was a wonderful addition, and we definitely made use of the pool table. very kind hosts, and a lovely location! we went down to a nearby state park to go swimming in a lake. I highly recommend visiting this cabin! a very fun getaway.

Absolutely loved this place! Just enough off the beaten path where you feel so secluded from town but are still right there! Amazing views and the home is absolutely perfect!

Nice cabin for our long weekend. Perfect set up as the parents were upstairs and the kids could all sleep downstairs. Dirt road up to the cabin was a bit rough but we were able to make it with my truck that doesn’t have 4wd even in the rain

Our stay at the cabin was incredible! It was even better than pictures, pristine, and the surrounding woods were gorgeous and peaceful! Both West Jefferson and Boone were a short drive away, and we enjoyed everything the area had to offer us. Christy was the best hostess, always being available if we had questions and she even left a kind note and local gift card because it was my bachelorette weekend. I cannot say enough great things about our stay!

An absolutely beautiful mountain get away. Secluded and cozy. The house is clean and spacious. Really hoping we get a chance to stay here again!

The cabin was clean and very cozy. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. We loved the porch area. A great place just to sip some wine and look at the amazing scenery. Perhaps most of all we enjoyed the fact that we had a 10 year-old grandson with us and he absolutely loved fishing at the lake, which is about 100 steps from the cabin. We would definitely come here again and plan to next summer.

This was one of our favorite Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at! It felt extremely homey and was very clean and comfortable. Honestly the beds were so wonderful I’m trying to convince my husband we need whatever mattress they have! We had no anxieties letting our toddler roam around the house, and he seemed to feel extremely comfortable there! The roads to get to the house itself are extremely curvy and steep so thankfully we brought our Subaru which got us up there with no issues! They had little snacks and plenty of kitchen appliances/utilities for us to use. They were so thoughtful with everything they provided! I would definitely recommend this place to any friends staying in the Boone/West Jefferson area!
