Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Freeport

This was our first time staying in Surfside and first time traveling with our two small dogs. Mike’s place was fantastic. We brought our kids and their spouses/SOs and had plenty of room. The beach was a short walk down the street. We had breakfast and dinner each day outside on the deck at the bar. It was a great place to hang out, enjoy a drink and laugh together. The house was well stocked with anything we could’ve needed. We will definitely stay here again. The fridge/freezer was HUGE! No way you’re gonna run out of space in there.

We had a wonderful time!! My family love the pool and we were able to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from high school. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We absolutely loved this place. The host was extremely helpful and nice. We booked their place last minute due to some unforeseen circumstances from another Airbnb nearby. They were very responsive and understanding of our situation. They helped us in different ways, that alone tells you how great these people are. The place was stunning and absolutely beautiful. The house was very clean and you can tell they take pride on what they are offering their guest. Location is amazing, you are walking distance to the beach or even a 15 second drive to the beach. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, it felt very comfortable. Thank you so much for helping us out and being such amazing people. We 100% recommend this beautiful place because of the house, and because of the people you are renting it from. Thank you!!!

Great place to stay on Crystal Beach, especially for a family with kids. The walk to the beach from the home was super quick and easy since the path is right next door. There is even a trail directly behind the home that isn’t hard for agile people that makes the very small amount of steps even smaller to get to the sand, which is helpful if you’re carrying something out. Our kids loved the pool and this is one of the knit houses we’ve seen with a pool up on the deck level to make watching kids super easy. The hot tub was nice too. The pool and hot tub we saw cleaned twice during our super short stay which was even more than we expected. The kids loved the two bunk bed rooms. It had everything we needed and more. The painting TV in the living room is on the smaller side, but it was fine.

This is a beautiful home very clean well stocked and relaxing. Wonderful place to stay if your going to relax with a small family. I do NOT recommend for a birthday weekend. We paid $100 extra for 4 guests that did not stay just came by to wish my daughter a happy birthday and have a few drinks. 8 is the total guests allowed the entire stay. Quiet hours start at 12 AM so keep that in mind if you’re outside in the hot tub listening to music having a couple of drinks go inside at 12. You do have to hall all of your trash to the dumpster located at the front entrance of the subdivision and clean up and take all of your linens off of all the beds and towels too which I feel should be the housekeeping job, since we pay a good price for the home. Bring your own charcoal propane non was provided for the fire pit we wanted to make s’mores on. And no complimentary champagne bottle was provided which was all in the description. Other than that it’s a beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend.

Great home. Great amenities. The host really helps you settle in to what’s in the community which is a great benefit and stress relief! We got the golf cart rental and beach umbrella/chair set up so this made it even better. Access right onto the beach with the golf cart. We caught a ton of fish at the recommend neighborhood spots and went back and forth from beach to fishing and also enjoyed the kayaks! Can’t wait to stay again next year.

Where can I start, they where really helpful and made our stay amazing. They kept a lot of communication and informative as the weather wasn't cooperating, but they made our stay great! Very satisfied and helpful! I really recommend them and their home!

My family and I had a great time. The home is equipped with everything you need. Loved the view of the water on both sides of the house. The view from the master bedroom balcony. It is located in a peaceful and quiet community. We will definitely book again.

We absolutely loved staying at the Peacock Apartment. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures. All the reviews gushing about this place are true. The hostess was kind and understanding with our check-in, and it really was like a little Paradise in the middle of the city. The location is very easy to get to and close to a freeway. There are a lot of markets close by if you want to cook at home. We stayed in every morning and just enjoyed the gardens. There were also a lot of rocking chairs so it was so nice to just laze about. We will definitely be coming back here specifically the next time we come to Houston. Thank you so much Selia!!!

Great location and the host was extremely helpful with any items we required. The location is perfect if you want to be in Downtown Houston. Great apartment and the building has very nice ammenities. I would recommend this apartment to friends that are visiting Houston as well...

The place is nice. We couldn’t figure out the LED lights, but that wasn’t important. Unsure of where the dedicated workspace was, but made do with no problems.

Had a wonderful stay at Jeff's place! Host's have gone the extra mile to make things super comfortable & convenient. Communication was great & they are extremely thoughtful in every way. Had everything I needed & then some - extra towels, laundry detergent, coffee creamer, a luggage rack, etc. Very clean & well stocked. Bed was comfortable. I felt safe in the neighborhood. I was able to park in front of their house with no issues. This is close to Texas Medical Center & MD Anderson - an easy, quick drive from the house. This host does an excellent job. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

This is a great place to stay. I was there over a week for a seminar and I really enjoyed coming back each evening to the quiet neighborhood with lots of big trees, including the promised Magnolias. The kitchen is well appointed, the bed is comfortable, and there is lots of light.

Excellent stay! I felt right at home and was easily able to work from Yvonne’s place while visiting family in Houston.

Briona was very responsive of all requests and inquiries I made throughout my stay, and was timely in helping me get better situated!

We stayed for 3 nights at Tien’s place for a rather stressful 2 days of pre-op procedures and appts. at MD Anderson. We couldn’t wait to get back at the end of the day. The apartment was clean, bright, peaceful , in a beautiful building with great amenities. Within walking distance to MD Anderson with grocery store not far away… The parking garage is a little tricky, but secure … and our host was very responsive when we had a few questions. It may be an issue for anyone with knee or hip issues. The shower is a tub/ shower combo. Nice deep tub great for soaking but the sides are high so you need to step up and over. Would definitely stay again…Also VERY comfortable king size bed!

Very Peaceful & Quiet.. My Family Loved The Treehouse .. Very Organized & Clean .. Clean Bathroom, Ac/Heater Worked Great.. Tv’s Have Netflix/Paramount + , WiFi etc… It’s A Nice Lil Place To Relax .. Big Front Porch , Lots Of Natural Light Coming In From The Front Doors… Love The Barn Doors Throughout The Inside Of The House.. Definitely Returning It’s A 10/10

We had an awesome experience at this airbnb. Everyone was warm and friendly, and made us feel so safe. The music and vibes were great, if you're feeling social or shy you have the space to do so, Everyone is welcoming and super sweet. The jacuzzi and heated pool are SUPER relaxing! Definitely will return. Hosts are awesome and down to earth people!

This place was beautiful. Donnie is seriously soooo nice, he helped us with our car when we had our bumper nearly half off. It was quiet and serene with the lake there. The wildlife watching was incredible. We did an ATV tour with Eric and saw the baby fallow dear and some blackbuck. The Pierre David’s deer were in their rutting season so it was like watching something out of National Geographic. It was kind of amazing waking up to see them right next to our car!

Quiet, safe, comfortable bed, hot shower

Loved our stay, very relaxing, the house had everything we needed and more. Corey and Whitney were wonderful at communicating, and answering any questions we had about the house, location was perfect for us, we could walk to or from the beach in 10 min, or less. the fenced in yard was also great for us, we loved our fur babies, being safe and able to run in the yard, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay the only problem we had was 3 days was not long enough, we plan on booking again, hopefully for a few extra days next time, thanks for making our stay great...We will be back...

This cabin was a wonderful spot to stay, and was quite a cool experience. The whole inside is wood, and while it creaks a bit in the wind, it’s surprisingly spacious and a total vibe. It was hot when we stayed but the A/C in the cabin was perfect! It has two bedrooms and a loft with two more beds, making it a great spot for groups to stay. I prefer to just have a code to get into an airbnb but getting and returning the key to the front office was actually a breeze. We didn’t get in until 11pm on the day of our check-in and still were able to walk up and personally be handed the keys. Great experience, we’ll be staying here again if we come back through this area.

absolutely loved the spot, the pond was a really nice feature, and it was super peaceful, being a country boy from Oklahoma, in Houston on business, I really didn't expect to find a place with such a peaceful country vibe in the big city, but here it is, and I highly recommend this spot for anyone who wants to escape the city and relax by the pond after work.

We had a great time and the house was great. We willmgo back again.
