Kid-friendly holiday rentals in French Flanders

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful home! The wellness area is like having your own private spa. The kids loved the swimming pool (which is great for kids) and the jacuzzi!! There are also beautiful gardens. Thank you and we hope to visit again!

I have been traveling almost exclusively with AirBnb for years, but there are few places where you have a host as caring as Lucie. In this accommodation you feel at home when you arrive, the bed was so comfortable that I'm a little embarrassed to tell you that I spent almost 11 hours there without waking up the first night, which is rather rare. As a host, I believe that Lucie in everyday life is the kind of person you would like to have as a friend. As for this city, it is as charming as your host. One of the peculiarities of Dunkirk is the kindness of its inhabitants in this city rocked by many stories and funny facts, such as the statue of Jean Bart which, by miracle, was saved from the bombings of the Second World War, when all the buildings around it were 85% destroyed. Try the restaurant La lagune, tasty dishes and friendly staff

Jackie's house is the perfect location for staying in Ypres. it is a 5 minute walk to the main square and is in a nice and peaceful location. the house is set over three levels with the spacious kitchen/ diner and bathroom on the ground floor, a living room on the 1st floor and a bedroom on the second floor. although we didn't use the kitchen, it was fully equipped to allow people to cook a full meal. living room consists of a sofa bed, with a TV and desk, leading to some steep steps up to the bedroom above which is spacious and airy. on the whole a perfect place to stay and relax while in Ypres and would stay at this location again.

We had an amazing time at this Airbnb. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a relaxing time in peace. The host is always available and will do their best to make your stay go smoothly. The 5 stars are well deserved for our stay.

This is a great place. The position is beautiful, the canal is so good. The house is great and I would definitely recommend. Lots of facilities and beautifully kept and has secure parking.

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful views from each of the terraces. We saw some stunning sunsets. Great fun watching all the activity on the beach. Bart and Mieke were excellent hosts, providing really useful information on everything from where to eat to where to park. Very responsive to every question we had and even helped with late checkout. The apartment is small but is really well designed and beautifully decorated and has everything you need. We wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous Airbnb.

We're not going to beat around the bush and admit that we chose this apartment for its view... and it's really worth it! Almost hypnotizing, a treat. The apartment itself is very well appointed. The route of stairs and corridors surprises the first time, but it's worth it. Very well equipped and optimized. I highly recommend it for a getaway for 2 in Malo.

Beautiful apartment tastefully decorated, clean, everything you need to feel good and 2 steps from shops, restaurants, bars... we will come back with great pleasure! Valentin was very responsive too, it's very nice!

Really exceptional apartment on the dike, the view is breathtaking, it is well equipped and the parking is a big plus in the neighborhood, we will definitely come back

Great place for a family a few blocks from the beach- location can’t be beat, sand toys for kids came with the condo which was wonderful, crib fully set up in the bedroom was A+. Place was well set up for our toddler- nothing for him to break, spent most time on the main floor aside from putting him to bed. Street parking was busy, especially summer evenings when people are out for dinner on the boardwalk. We managed by parking further away during the dinner hours and reparking closer to the apartment later on (8pm on). Only other rec’s I would give to people staying here is to bring your own shampoo, coffee supplies (there is a machine that uses pods but made weak coffee- no French press or filter for drip), face cloths, dish cloth and paper towels. We would definitely stay here again, we would just buy these supplies earlier.

Christophe....had a great visit to your condo in Calais and wished we could've stayed longer. Violet took a morning swim and we hope all the sand stayed on the beach. We have the same challenge at our beach house! Despite finding our car tire flat when starred to depart for Bruges, we made it safely to our next stop. A bientot!

I spent a week at Sophie's accommodation in beautiful weather. The location of the apartment is great and everything you need is available. Sophie was accessible and helpful at all times. I would be happy to come back sometime.

It is worth of money, i have extended my stay

Highly recommend the apartment. The location was central to everything we wanted to see. The Menin Gate was approx 10 mins walk away. The apartment had everything we needed, was well equipped and was spotlessly clean. The onsite parking was an extra bonus. It was very private and peaceful. Leilei was immediately responsive when we sent any communication and proved to be very helpful. The beds were so comfortable that we all slept well (and intend to buy the same mattresses) restaurants and cafes are also within walking distance. A great find, thank you Leilei and team
