Luxury Snowdonia Cottage Retreat

Marie-SophieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Sam's place is an absolutely beautiful home away from home! It's a gorgeous house in the midst of Wale's magnificent nature and the perfectly peaceful retreat for exploring Snowdonia. We felt welcomed right away and loved how much love and attention to detail was put into the decoration of the house. Super comfy beds, a big kitchen for cooking up some amazing dinners, and a fireplace that made the living room even comfier made our vacation the perfect break from busy city life. Highly recommend this beautiful home when you're visiting Wales!

Beautifully converted chapel in rural setting.

SarahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a wonderful stay in the chapel, it is beautifully presented, in lovely surrounds. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were exactly as they said. The bedding was lovely too. We enjoyed a 7 mile walk at Harlech beach, stunning, a walk from Barmouth to Fairbourne. We did a circlular from Llangollen including Castell Dinas Brân. Highly recommend. Use All-trials app. Bod Petryal was a wonderful forest walk in the Clocaenog Forest. Stunning. We saw loads of dragon flies. We did green and yellow. Free parking. We stopped at the VALLE CRUCIS ABBEY well worth a stop as you go past. Free to visit and park. Coed Moel Famau - in the heart of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We did a brilliant walk to the top - Jubilee tower. After we sat and watched the sunset and relaxed with our deck chairs and coffee. An awesome view. We took the blue route. Wonderful scenery and plants. Great selection of orchids. All in all a wonderful trip. Recommend it

The Old Barn, Near Bala

LisaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I absolutley loved my stay at The Old Barn! It was such a last minute trip (booked less than 24 hours before arriving), but Rhian was so welcoming and had everything ready for me! The Barn and the surroundings are just ideal and so picturesque. It was the perfect break from the City and a gorgeous space for me and my dog. The Barn was well equipped and there was nothing that I needed that the Barn didn’t have! I was a bit nervous about the road due to reading a few reviews, but me and my little Toyota Aygo made it up there just fine, so don’t let that put you off! Perfect location with less than half an hour to Bala and Llangollen. There’s some lovely drives and places to go for walks, the countryside around here is just beautiful. Gorgeous sunsets from the property itself or you can drive up the hills in the surrounding areas for more vast views across the countryside. I loved every second and I will definitely be back!

Bwthyn Carrog

NicRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved the rural location of the cottage. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. Betws-y-Coed was just a short drive away and we also found a lovely little pub not too far away. We had everything we needed for our stay, the weather was typically Welsh so we enjoyed the Netflix and cooking facilities. The bed was huge and so comfy. No issues parking a stones throw from the cottage. Only negative is the garden furniture needs replacing as completely damaged but we didn't really have 'sitting out' weather.

Amazing sea/mountain view-beach 10 minute walk

MarilynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was spotless, very well equipped with good quality items and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, we never heard a sound other than the sea and the occasional seagull. The garden was very private. We went to Porthmadog and did a trip on the steam train to Beddgelert which is such a pretty village. We got an ice cream and sat by the river. Lovely shops too. We went to Portmeirion one day which was lovely as it was a warm sunny day. The most outstanding feature of course was the stunning view. It was an absolute joy to watch the sunsets as the big orange sun gradually disappeared behind the mountains. Something we will remember forever.

Cottage in Eryri, Snowdonia - near Bala Lake.

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Had a lovely few days at Tyly’s while on a kayaking trip on the River Treweryn. It is a perfect cottage in a stunning location and I found everything I could possibly need. I enjoyed sitting on the private deck with its picnic table overlooking the garden. Pleasant walks from the cottage. Highly recommended for a delightful break.
