Our house is situated at an altitude of 650 meters (2,133 feet) in a quiet, sunny location with magnificent panoramic views, surrounded by lush, green meadows and plenty of nature. Our holiday apartment with a living area of 100 square meters can accommodate up to 6 people. The spacious bedroom with double bed leads directly to the covered balcony and you can enjoy the evening sun from there. The second bedroom has a single bed that can be expanded into a double bed. The cozy living room invites you to spend an evening together watching TV or playing games. There is a sofa bed here for up to 2 people. The modern kitchen has an additional small breakfast balcony and a dining table, and is equipped with an oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, microwave, and toaster. The bathroom with shower & bathtub and the separate toilet complete the overall picture. Free parking is available on site and WiFi is available free of charge.

The apartment and access is not suitable for people with disabilities and is not barrier-free. No smoking inside the apartment.

Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.

In the immediate vicinity are cross-country trails and the biathlon stadium with ski roller train and ski lift, sledding slope, MTB trails and hiking trails. Fichtelsee is a 20-minute walk away.
