A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Alnes Seaview

At the far end of Alnes, you will find this fantastic pearl with unobstructed sea views on all sides. The road stops with us, so here you have peace, quiet and a good view. You are also just a stone's throw away from Alnes lighthouse. The place is excellent in summer as well as in winter - welcome! - 2 minutes walk to Alnes lighthouse - 3 minutes walk to Alnes Visitor Center - 7 minutes walk to the beach on Alnes - 10 minutes walk to the start of the mountain hike up Godøyfjellet If you need groceries, it is a 5-minute drive to Joker on Godøya.

Here you live in rural surroundings in Giske with very good sun conditions, nice views and with little traffic and transparency. The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan between the living room and kitchen, fireplace and two nice outdoor areas. 5 min walking distance to the beach and water sports activities. 15 min drive to airport 10 min drive to city center. Short drive to several attractive mountain peaks.

A pearl in the sea gap! Newly renovated farmhouse from 1894 which has retained its unique charm and old style :) The house is located on Ulla, Haramsøy (Haram municipality), with the sea as its nearest neighbour. It is a short distance to fishing opportunities and a bathing area, and the hiking trails are right outside the kitchen door. There will also be a boat available for free use during the stay at your own risk.
