Cabin holiday rentals in Grandfather Mountain

We have been coming to Celo every year for at least 9-10 years. After hurricane Helena came through we worried for this community. That being said the house is as always immaculately clean. The outside shower will wash away your blues. The need for electronics disappears and your family is able to reconnect. The river, though changed, still holds adventures, swimming, and fishing. Can’t wait to return next year.

Really felt right at home. Had all the essentials we could have needed and loved the hot tub and hammock additions. Perfect location, and even the trails within the area were great. Louis was so responsive and helpful with everything

If I was someone on the fence about staying here, I would absolutely stay here! It was beautiful, very clean, well taken care of and very relaxing! It was the best way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we will certainly be back! The price was very reasonable for 2 nights in a beautiful relaxing cabin too! We were able to bring our puppy which made it even better! Firefly cabin is a must stay!

My wife and I, along with our daughter, her husband, and their 3 young boys had a very enjoyable stay. The children particularly liked the game barn. We all enjoyed the cool mountain air and the peaceful vibes while sitting on the outside swing along with making s'mores over the fire pit, and enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck is amazing. Driving up to and down from the house was a bit challenging, with very steep climbs and hairpin switchback turns, but the view from the house at the top was well worth the drive. All things considered, we all had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend staying here

Our stay at these beautiful cabins was nothing short of amazing! The location is perfect—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by absolutely pristine mountain views that are simply breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice; the views are truly irreplaceable. The cabins themselves were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a perfect retreat for rest and relaxation. The host was incredibly nice and very responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. This is the kind of place you want to return to again and again. I would definitely come back with my family in the future—highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with all the comforts of home!

Lauren’s place was amazing! We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and the kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table. Everything was clean and lots of chairs for the entire family. It is tucked back into the woods so it was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed watching several deer walk past a few times. I’m highly recommend Lauren’s cabin.

cabin is in a great secluded area with woods so it feels very private and cozy. we enjoyed the time we spent there and the beautiful area! They were really good and responsive hosts! top notch!

Christina was so helpful in my wedding planning process! We used this space to host an intimate dinner with family and she was super responsive and communicative. She even let me see the space when I was in town for my wedding venue site visit. The house was immaculate and it was perfect for me and my bridesmaids to stay the night. If I’m ever in the area again with a group I would absolutely stay here. The downstairs game room was also a HUGE hit. Thank you Christina for helping create such wonderful memories with our family.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We fished directly off the deck and could see the fish from there also. We attempted to find the steps down to the water a few homes over but we weren’t able to locate them. We loved that the home was back off the road but still very close to town and many local places. The neighborhood was very quiet and well maintained. Everything exceeded our expectations for the home and location!! The only suggestion I can give is for a WELCOME binder with lists of local restaurants and other attractions and clear instructions to the steps down to the water. Also, include a checkout checklist. And maybe a book for all visitors to sign and leave a word about their visit and where they are visiting from! Just ideas I have seen in other past rental homes! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave!

Walter gave us an amazing place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Very secluded and private, which is something we were looking for. We felt right at home when we walked in and wish we could take this cabin back home. Everything was very tidy, well organized and we didn’t have to go looking for anything. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it rained a majority of the weekend, which we were bummed about, but that didn’t stop us from sitting outside and listening to the sound of the river, rain and frogs. Very peaceful! Being so close to the river it made it very easy and quick to run down and throw a few casts in the river. Thank you Walter for the very comfortable stay. This place is on our list of places to hopefully return to!

Our time at the cabin was next to magical, Peace, quiet and fireflies - what more could one ask for? Shelby was a super responsive host and left plenty of recommendations for our time in the area. Location was unable to be beat -from cabin to the trailhead at Grayson Highlands was under 45 minutes. We, our dog included, cannot wait to return!

Cabin was found as described. Enjoyed the hot showers and comfortable bed (king). Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend stay, and wished that the hot tub was under an attached awning to keep the towels dry. Other than that we appreciated the thoughtful touches in the cabin, quiet neighborhood, the deer out back in the mornings, as well as the robin that knocked on sliding glass door for attention. Wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.

Christopher was great! He was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We’d absolutely consider staying there again if we decide to travel to the Boone area.

Just what we needed… the house is so beautifully decorated and cared for, the host was very attentive, the views were amazing. We stayed for a long weekend to get some time to relax and this house was perfect. The decor is so thoughtful, we felt like we were staying in a magazine worthy home. The house is spaced well from other homes so there was no neighbor noise. The deck has the perfect view of the mountains. We would 100% recommend this home & host.

Had a lot of fun, dogs loved the creek in the backyard. Some awesome hiking walking distance from the house. Would love to come stay again

My husband and I stayed a weekend at this beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains—right beside a babbling stream—and honestly, our stay was nothing short of magical. The cabin exceeded our expectations—photos don’t compare to its real-life charm. It’s the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature—highly recommended for a peaceful, rejuvenating escape.

Our stay was very satisfactory!! All amenities worked and were very clean; the hot tub looked great and seemed like it gets regular maintenance. Perfect private location for the price. Cutely decorated and presented exactly like the pictures. The provided essentials were very helpful for any needs we had while we were there. Lots of little things to do nearby. I recommend The Tin Trout (delicious food and even better desserts), Linville Caverns (super cool experience for $12-15 dollars!) and Linville Falls Winery (great service and affordable prices with tasty wine) This place was the perfect spot for a short getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday! Very private and romantic and the amenities make it feel like you can curate your experience to what you prefer. The inside space is beautiful and very spacious for 2 people, and the outside is well maintained and set up nicely! Definitely recommend this spot.

This cabin was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a long weekend trip. Rina was very responsive to questions and was flexible with check-in time as we were traveling across the state. The amenities were great and we made use of the outdoor grill, dining space as well as the fire pit. Thanks for a wonderful experience in our first Air B&B!

Truly Bearadise! An Unforgettable Mountain Escape Our stay at "It's Bearadise!" was phenomenal, exceeding expectations! The breathtaking panoramic views from the cabin and the mountain-facing hot tub were truly captivating. The cabin itself is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like home. We loved the stone fireplaces, the outdoor fire pit (firewood provided!), and the game room which offered endless entertainment and family battles. Erin is an exceptional Superhost; communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The cabin was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The location, while private, is conveniently close to Blowing Rock where we enjoyed various outdoor activities. "It's Bearadise!" is a meticulously cared-for sanctuary offering the perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and natural beauty. We made cherished memories and highly recommend.

This was my wife and I first time visiting Asheville. After spending about an hour searching where to stay, we decided to lodge at this beautiful cozy A-frame. This allowed us to have easy access to hiking trails, a great view of the mountains and yet still be able to reach downtown Asheville in about twenty minutes. Needless to say we had a great time and we would recommend staying here.

I really thought the place was very nice and clean. Courtney was available, responsive and friendly. Clean and comfortable, the bed was very cozy and made you want to sleep in for sure. Everything was as described, and we enjoyed our stay :)
