The accommodation is located directly on the circular path around the Steinhuder Meer. A public access to the lake is 400m away. Here you can get started with our SUPs. With our bikes you can reach Steinhude in 15 minutes. There is enough space for 2 adults and 1-2 children.

The honey storage is an old wooden house and has been in this place for over 240 years. It's a place full of history, in the heart of the tiny village of Hartböhn. The honey storage has been completely renovated in 2024 and has a tastefully decorated and comfortable living area for 2 persons with garden and two terraces. There is plenty of peace and space here. Active guests can walk to their heart's content, ride a bike and explore the beautiful Lüneburg Heath.

Romantic country

Our tranquil country house has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It offers enough space to fully develop and enjoy the tranquility of the country. The property is shielded from view of neighbors and with its approximately 1,600 m² is large enough to have complete privacy. In the garden are seating, an outdoor bed, lots of wild flowers and a fireplace for grilling. Overall, it can be said that there was hardly a place where we ever felt more relaxed.

The small apartment in our historic half-timbered house is renovated with natural building materials. It has an entrance area with kitchenette and dining table. From this, there is a small bathroom with shower and toilet as well as the combined living-sleeping room. There is a double bed and the sofa bed, so that possibly even four people can stay overnight. The apartment is not accessible due to several steps and a high door threshold.

Very close to the Mariensee Monastery on the Leine, we offer a guest house overlooking the Leine. The old ferry house to Basse forms the foundation of the property. The country garden with pool and wooden terrace connects everything to a unique spot where you can also just relax. The small construction trailer is in the back near the property line in our vegetable garden. There is the quietest place in our garden. You can use our outdoor kitchen, the communal table, all seating, the toilet and shower... however you like. No smoking inside the accommodation - but outside. Our garden is suitable for anyone who likes to be outdoors, likes the camping feeling, but does not want to stay in a tent.

We spent a few nice days in the small cottage on Lake Steinhude. The location is fantastic - right on the water, quiet and relaxing. The cottage was clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Thank you for the wonderful time!
