There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail just behind the cabin, and you can take on alpine skiing just outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. This cozy cottage is located on the small farm Reiremo which is located at the entrance to Heimfjellet. It is 6 km to Lalm from here, and 6 km down to Heidal. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful nature with hiking opportunities on all sides. There is also an extensive network of groomed ski trails not far from the cabin. The area also has hunting and fishing opportunities. The cabin has six beds, a room with a family bed and a single bed and a room with a double bed, and otherwise what you need to enjoy a stay with us.

The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
