Veslebui is a cosy little mountain cabin, perfect for those looking for a simple and authentic mountain experience. The cabin has electricity, a practical kitchenette and fantastic views of Lake Tyin, which can be enjoyed directly from both the dining area and the living space. The cabin combines dining, seating and sleeping areas in one open room. It accommodates up to 3 guests, but is most comfortable for 2 adults or a small family. The kitchenette is equipped for simple meal preparation and includes a hot plate, kettle, refrigerator and essential cooking equipment. Please note that there is no running water in the cabin. Bathrooms, toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities are available in our shared service building, located just 50 metres from the cabin. Duvets and pillows are provided. Guests may bring their own bed linen or rent it for NOK 150 per person. Veslebui is located above the tree line, surrounded by open mountain landscapes, spectacular views, fresh mountain air and excellent hiking opportunities right outside the door.

The cabin is located on Viken Fjellgård, one hour from Lillehammer, right by idyllic Espedalsvatnet, 720 meters above sea level, and Langsua National Park. Here, you can find peace and quiet, swim, paddle, visit mines, or go on walks. It is a short distance to the highlands, where there are many hiking opportunities, or you can walk from the farm along the water, on trails through forests and fields. There is a cozy outdoor area with a fire pit on the dock by the boathouse, and there is a swimming beach on the other side. Our guests can use our two boats and canoe freely, and we lend out two fishing rods.

Experience beautiful nature at a cozy mountain farm cabin! The cabin is located on the edge of the forest with a view of the entire Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities both in summer and winter right outside the door. About 1 km on skis through the forest to the Skeikampen trail network. The cabin has 5 beds, plus a pull-out bed, an equipped kitchen, a heat pump, a wood-burning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bed linen and towels included. You must have a 4x4 in winter. 15 minutes to the city center and Skeikampen, 30 minutes to Lillehammer and 45 minutes to Hunderfossen.

Outdoor toilet. The cabin is suitable for 4 people, divided into 2 small bedrooms. Duvet/pillow for 4 pcs. No bed linen. (Can be rented) Simple equipment kitchen, with fridge-oven-micro-wave-sink. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.
