Viken Fjellgård is located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, an hour's drive from Lillehammer. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, something hot to drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a snowshoe hike, ice fishing, burn a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, then this can be the place. Charming, older house with a rustic romantic feel located at the heart of the idyllic Lustrafjorden. The house has everything you need to enjoy a cozy and peaceful stay by the fjord, including a long distance to the nearest neighbor, access to a nice swimming area by the jetty on the downside of the house, balcony and associated glazed winter balcony, large and flowery garden, several outdoor and indoor seating groups, wood-burning stoves in several living rooms and a well-equipped kitchen with appliances.

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dogs, next to the house where we live. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city center, and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored Österdal house from the 19th century, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, coffee press and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of NOK 300 only covers preparation of rental unit and not final cleaning.
