The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. Rustic and homely little cabin right by the river. Very simple standard (no bath/water toilet), only outdoor toilet and outdoor shower (only during summer) with cold water. Water jugs with drinking water and water for cleaning/cooking are available. Here you wake up from river buzz and birdsong. The cabin has a garden, a fireplace and a path to the river with a swimming area during the summer. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on a leash as the property is not fully fenced. Welcome to the cozy Veslestua from around 1800! The house is a traditional old and typical Norwegian log house that invites you to relax and enjoy. It is charming with low ceilings and painted panels inside. Pleasant small-paned windows in all rooms. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a meal, dishes, bowls and plates. Beautifully located with a view of Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake. Central with good bus and train connections to Moelv, 2 km away.

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dog, next to the house where we ourselves live. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal center, and there is a short way to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored 19th century Ostrodal living room and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, juicer and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of €30 only covers preparation of rental unit and not final cleaning.
