And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, something hot to drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a snowshoe hike, ice fishing, burn a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, then this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes. The trails start right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the trip on the high mountain.

The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city center, and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored Österdal house from the 19th century, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, coffee press and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of NOK 300 only covers preparation of rental unit and not final cleaning.
