I had a lovely stay and the flat was exactly as described. Very easy to get into the city center (the tram is particularly quick!), and the flat was very clean. Comfy bed and a perfect space for a few days city break. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and the host was responsive with my questions. Would definitely stay again!

Milan's apartment is amazing and he is very hospitable and friendly. It is located in a large square in the heart of the old town with dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. The Zurich HB train station is a 10-15 minute walk and there is a full-size grocery store a few hundred meters away. We did not expect to need AC in Zurich in June, but the temperature was above 90F for two days, so we were very happy to have AC in Milan's apartment - many rentals do not have it. Note that the unit is on the 5th and 6th floors (plus a rooftop terrace on the 7th), and there is no elevator. Milan's family owns the cafe on the ground floor, and they graciously volunteered to carry the heavy luggage upstairs. If you have an early flight on your way out of Zurich, you may have to carry your own luggage down, but gravity helps. The view from the rooftop is spectacular, the kitchen is well-appointed, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are modern. Very highly recommended.

We loved staying at Gisela’s in Zurich! The proximity to the tram station is so convenient, as well as proximity to one of the larger hub train stations. There’s also a shopping mall nearby as well as a number of great restaurants. The flat itself is so charming and really reflects Gisela’s style which I absolutely loved. Not to mention the washer/dryer which saved us!! Gisela is a wonderful and kind communicator and was always available if we needed anything. You won’t be sorry when booking for your stay in Zurich!
