Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hakuba, Kitaazumi District

Our stay here was absolutely lovely. The villa is even more lovely than in the pictures, was super clean and had great amenities. The host was so friendly and helpful and very responsive over message. We really enjoyed how beautiful and peaceful the area is, and there are lots of lovely local cafes and restaurants a short drive away, as well as lots of hiking opportunities. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Japan. Thanks so much!

Had a great couple of days at Nick & Hiro's. The architecture was beautiful and place was pristine, 50m away was a nice bar you could relax at as well. The address was hard to find with apple google maps but Nick was quick to drive to us and assist for check-in. Big ups Nick it was a pleasure.

To be honest, the location felt quite deep in the mountains, but thanks to the signs, we got there without getting lost! We'd love to use your space again. Thank you!

We only stayed one night but liked the place very much. It’s fun and original, yet comfortable and functional. We enjoyed the fireplace after a chilly day. One stand-out feature is the high tech and well designed equipment & furniture

Hiromi and Toshi are the greatest host that have build a lovely place in Nagano. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave they do everything they can to make you feel welcome. I definitely recommend staying with them, I for sure will next time I am in Nagano.

Mark was an excellent host. He picked us up from the bus station, took us to get groceries and ski hire. He provided us with ski passes so we didn’t have to worry about working that out ourselves. He provided us with plenty of local recommendations. The house was warm, comfortable and clean. It was a minute walk to the ski field and a short walk down to the restaurants in town. We loved our stay and will 100% recommend to friends and if we ever come back we’ll be staying again!

The host is very responsive and kindly allows early check in when the house is ready. This is our 2nd time to stay here, everything is perfect.

Greg was such a helpful host, the location of the property was great and having a car was such a game changer for exploring the area. For 4 of us the room was fine and had everything we need. Will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

Absolutely no regrets staying here. I’m sure this is one of the best accommodations you can find in Matsumoto!

I love this place. Everything is perfect!! We stayed 2 nights there with 2 kids. Peter & Shiho’s place is wonderful for family stay. Location is good easy to find and getting around. We have cooked dinner at home once. Kitchen equipment and tableware is ready to use (only knife that not so sharp😅) When I shared this place on social media, any of friend asked and would to follow me to stay here. Peter is friendly and quite attentive to support he come to meet us twice. We would like to come back again ❤️

It was a very beautiful interior.

You'll find almost everything you'll need for your stay. There was also a bathrobe, but it was very helpful that there were T-shirts and shorts for the number of people. Thanks to you, I was able to relax. On the other hand, I had a little trouble with the dishcloth. We borrowed tableware, but there was no drain basket or dishcloth, so we used a towel instead. Also, the bath water is not the type that can be set to a temperature, so the children were a little confused. Overall, I am very grateful for the host's thoughtfulness, such as the speed of response when sending messages and the air conditioning before entering the room to keep the room cool.

The cabin was a little secluded with small roads. But very beautiful surroundings and still near the main attractions. Great privacy and very well appointed accommodation. Highly recommend!

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.

The warmth of the host is amazing. If there were any problems, we were very responsive to any issues that were met with immediate response. I usually visit villas and cottages across the country as a hobby. With this quality, I don't think this price can be a good idea. +4500 yen to use the BBQ empty-handed +2500 yen to enjoy the firewood However, you can also bring a nearby home center or bring it with you. The BBQ set is free, so if you bring charcoal and ingredients, you can do it right away without an optional fee. It has a large semi open-air bath. Four adults can enter.It was beautiful. The finished house is also perfectly written in English. I think this place is going to be popular soon I think it will fill the reservation if you put it in Jalan or Ichiku (it may be unnecessary, but it may be unnecessary) Thank you for being such a great response

My kid and I had a great 4-night stay at the corner house. The location is perfect, peaceful yet close to restaurants, stores, and onsens. The well-stocked kitchen made meal prep a joy. It truly made our visit to Nozawaonsen extra special, a real gem!
