Monthly Rentals in Hamblen Township

The Acre Ridge Cabin did not disappoint! We were looking for quiet and seclusion…We found it! Seldom did we hear any noise from passing cars or neighbors. We spent time exploring the woods and the little guy loved playing in the small creek. Everyone enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. We also prepared and ate every meal except one in the well-appointed kitchen. The “Happy Jar Salsa” and taco chips were a tasty surprise! There were no kitchen gadgets that we were without (there was even an ice cream scoop). The beds were comfortable! We enjoyed reading books in the solarium and listening to the rain. We appreciated the firewood being delivered in advance of our visit. Sitting around the campfire telling ghost stories on Friday the 13th was spooky but fun. The supplies you provided to make s’mores came in handy. Thanks for offering us the extra night. Even with that we were not ready to leave. All in all, quite pleasurable. We would return when another quiet trip to the woods is needed.

Beautiful, peaceful place for this refurbished farmhouse. Place was relaxing and comfortable. Sitting on the front porch in the comfortable swivel rockers was very relaxing. It is about 10 minutes to Nashville shops and restaurants. Two living spaces were nice for splitting our larger group for different conversations. Bedrooms had ample space and the additional bathrooms in this old farmhouse were very needed for our group. For a group needing 5 bedrooms in the Nashville area, I highly recommend this place for the peace and relaxation of the surroundings.

We had a great time at the Salt Creek Farmhouse! We had a big family dinner with family who were also visiting Indiana for graduation and we had everything we needed to accommodate everyone. The location of the house is very different from what we’re used to in New York City, but it was beautiful and so very serene. Ken was awesome, friendly, and very helpful. The sorrel mushroom booklet was one of the coolest things I’ve seen at any place I’ve stayed.

We had a small family gathering to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The property is excellently maintained. Quiet and peaceful. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the back deck, read, and listen to the birds in the woods. Lots of things to do on the property for both adults and kids. Within a 10-15 minutes drive to the little neighboring town that has a lot of small shops and restaurants to visit. Great spot for a long weekend away!
