Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Helen

Beautiful spot! We didn’t want to leave! It was a wonderful few days relaxing and enjoying nature.

We had a blast. The creek and scenery was awesome. The cabin was perfect. We even got in the creek and played some. Clayton was an awesome town as well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely unreal stay. The views were next-level—pure Appalachian magic. The house was beautiful, spotless, and peaceful. Jeff was an amazing host: super responsive, thoughtful, and gave us great local recs. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had.

Cathy's place was like walking back into my childhood, and it had so many personal touches. It was very quiet even though it's right next to a road. I wish we'd had more time to spend outside, but the storms wouldn't let us. The upstairs sitting area was a nice surprise and very comfortable. I found myself not wanting to leave! We will definitely be returning the next time we're in the area. 2 tips for those coming: 1. The tub stopper is in the top of the towel cabinet. Make sure you use it as the tub lets out really fast, and you're really going to want a soak in that amazing tub! 2. Don't try to find food after 8:45 pm. Most everything closes at 9.

This place is a real gem! Don’t hesitate to stay here if you are in the area! The cabin is quaint but it never felt small and they really have thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable! We loved the decor and all the little extras did not go unnoticed by myself or my two kids! We would gladly stay here again if in the Hiawassee area!

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

Usually when you stay at an Airbnb, you get what you pay for but here we got a very unexpected and never before experienced stay. Every single detail was so thoughtful and so generous, and it made our time an absolute blessing. Joan and clay are such a joy to talk with and they have gone far above and beyond any other place to make sure we had everything we could want or need. Truly felt like they were family and enjoyed our stay so so much. Will be back soon.

This place was amazing, highly recommend! We were able to roam around on their 92 acres care free, and we visited some local shops. The host was so amazing to talk to and told me a little bit about the land and history which always makes things so much more personal. We are planning a trip back as we speak. It's so nice to be away from the hustle but still have such amazing things to do around the area.

Very unique place with more fresh eggs than you can eat and take home. Steve meets you when you arrive which nice to meet the host who is full of information and recommendations. We felt very much at home there. The location is central to the most beautiful water falls and hiking trails in North Georgia. I think we could live there. Can't wait to go back.

Great location and convenient to area restaurants, events, etc. This was our second visit and we look forward to staying here the next time we're in town. The space is clean, quiet and fun to explore.

This cute little downstairs apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It’s a great space for two people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We spent our mornings on the porch swing drinking coffee and at night would head into town to eat at the recommended restaurants. The place was cute, homey, and had amazing views of the mountains!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Wally was very helpful and very kind and we loved staying there. It was a beautiful place! For the price I highly recommend! I will definitely stay again if I have to go back to Tennessee!

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

I enjoyed staying at this quiet and peaceful place. It was neatly kept, clean, and comfortable. Dave and Barb were great, and I also enjoyed meeting Beans! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay during my trip.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin on the Creek celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. The cabin was as advertised, the creek was better! Chris had everything we could possibly need in the cabin, far more than other places we’ve visited. His response time to questions and advice was superior! We’ll definitely be back, and I hope soon!!

My family loved the stay! The game room was perfect for my kids. We had epic air hockey games. Rooms were comfortable and the house was clean. We loved the view from the huge porch. Communication from the host was quick and instructions were clear. We would definitely return for another family weekend!

Location was perfect. Just a 30min drive to Helen which was the reason for our mom&daughter trip. We wanted to stay in a secluded cabin with a pretty view which led us to stay here and we were happy. Everything was clean and plenty of space for just us two. Please do not skip over the fact that the stairs are extremely narrow and steep. It’s in the description - I read it and didn’t think much of it since I’m young and my mom is not elderly, but we realized we had to walk up and down them pretty much like a ladder and against the A-frame wall it doesn’t give much room, so just be aware when booking. We left our luggage on the main floor. The spiral stairs are also narrow but it’s not as steep as the set going to 3rd floor. Again, everything was great but if you’re unsure you or your party can navigate ladder-like stairs consider staying elsewhere. Christopher was super responsive and very nice when he checked in and followed up. The cows were pleasant to view on the patio

We spent a few nights here for a family vacation and we really enjoyed it. The view was beautiful and the cabin was very cozy. The instructions to get to the cabin were very clear so that was super helpful! We had no trouble getting settled in!

The Perfect Oktoberfest Getaway in Helen, GA! If you're looking for the ultimate Oktoberfest experience in Helen, GA, look no further than this amazing cabin hosted by Roy! From the moment we booked, Roy was incredibly communicative and helpful and quick to answer any questions The cabin itself was absolutely perfect. Tucked away in a peaceful, wooded area but still just minutes from downtown Helen, it offered the best of both worlds—quiet relaxation and easy access to all the AVF festivities. The décor had a charming, rustic Bavarian feel that fit the Oktoberfest theme perfectly. From the cozy fireplace to the wooden beams and alpine touches, we felt like we’d been transported straight to a German mountain village. We highly recommend this cabin. This was our 5th stay in the Ellijay/Blue Ridge area and this house is in the perfect location to visit both. It’s a short (maybe 5 minute) drive off the main highway and the road is paved the entire way. It was so nice to be in such a peaceful and private location but still be able to get to everything we wanted to so easily. The house is beautiful and clean and we would definitely stay again.
