Holiday rentals with a patio in Helmsley

What a find! Absolutely perfect for our three night stay in York. Secure parking with EV charging and we didn’t use the car at all once we’d arrived. 45 minute pleasant walk to the centre or bus stop literally right outside the door. Also got an Uber back after a night out and was less than £8. There are local pubs and shops within a few minutes walk too. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, absolutely spotless, with comfy bed and good quality bedding. Carolyn is an excellent host, great local info and perfect level of communication…providing all the information and responsive to messages but also left us in peace :)

Poppy’s place is a great place to stay if visiting York. Hickory’s restaurant just 16 mins walk away and FootGolf over the road. Good use of space would highly recommend! If it’s forecast high 20’s low 30’s I would bring a fan with you as it gets very warm through the evening. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay in the future.

This is a really beautiful property! Although one has to deal with many steps, the beauty and peacefulness and quiet are really worth it. It is comfortable, well equipped, and quiet, with a really charming balcony to sit on – a lovely view of the Abbey. Very easy access to town, beaches, et cetera. The host was helpful, and answered our queries fully and promptly. We would certainly recommend it.

We had a great week in this flat and would definitely return , Pubs & restaurants on your doorstep and a great balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. Also Nick our host is a nice guy .

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

This is our second stay at low tide, stayed in 2023 and it was as beautiful as it was then! Super clean, gorgeous decor, great little courtyard and lovely little touches for the doggy (dog bowls, blanket)! Hosts were very quick to respond to any messages! Great location, 2 mins to the beach, private parking you coudnt ask for anymore! Will be back again 100%

Sheila and Pete were great hosts really friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was faultless very homely and literally a 5 minute walk from the station. We were able to leave our possessions earlier than the checkin time which was fantastic as otherwise would’ve been lugging them about all day. They left us a lovely welcoming card and some gorgeous fresh scones with all the trimmings . Will definitely be booking to stay again. A charming well appointed little apartment. It was beautifully clean and tidy. If Main Street Haworth is your focus it’s quite a steep walk to get there but worth it. Having free parking so close is a real bonus. Dealing with Ruth was easy and she was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

The place is gorgeously decorated with everything you need. What made it 5 star were all the little touches, how quickly Stuart and Sharon responded, how clean the place was, the extra little touches that made us feel special, the gorgeous garden and the late check out. We felt so comfortable, we will definitely go back again.

this cottage was well above our expectations, just 1 thing worth a mention,the house is on top of a hill, so if you have to leave your car at the bottem of hill on the station paid for car park you have to walk up a very steep hill,also two lots of stairs in the house so you need to be fit and able to walk this 1 in 5 bank and stairs in the house.

Such a beautiful and clean home. I definitely recommend this place to others, not only was the money a great price but kizzie gave clear directions of how to get to the house and also where to park. I am 100% satisfied with my stay and will look forward to booking again.

Absolutely perfect would be a fair description of this property. Beautiful surroundings and Jane, the host, has thought of everything you could possibly need. Very clean and comfortable beds. This property has the most enormous living room so lots of space to enjoy. There is lovely pond with water lilies- charming. On walking around the property when we arrived my partner remarked “I’d buy this place-it’s lovely”!!!

Great little find. Helens communication was first class. The place was just the right size for us, had all we needed especially as we ate in half of the time. very hot week and the property being split level helped, as the downs stairs bedroom was nice and cold. very clean neat and tidy. Would I come again? sure, if it was not so far away.

Really enjoyed our stay. Sandsend is a better choice for us than Whitby as it’s quiet, has a lovely beach and has great variety for places to eat out. Accommodation is great and all restaurants are easily walkable. Great place for dogs as the back garden is fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Lovely place, very spacious with everything you need. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and there are a couple of pubs in walking distance.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. Great location for York city centre, took about 10-15 mins easy flat walk, lots of free on street parking so no car park to pay for, the accommodation was easy to check in and clean and tidy. Jonathan was a great host and kept us informed on what to do when checking in etc We only stayed a night but I would’ve happily stayed another night or two and the price was very reasonable all in all I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit this beautiful city.

We had a fabulous weekend away with our 2 small doggies at Sophie’s place. The home was beautifully presented, and perfectly clean - both making us feel instantly welcome. The enclosed yard-style garden was great for the dogs as it allowed total privacy. With the patio doors open they could pop in and out as they pleased and there was no foot traffic past to disturb them. The kitchen was well stocked - we didn’t end up cooking as there was lots of lovely places to eat out but with plenty of cooking utensils/pots and pans ect, we easily could have done. The bed was super comfortable! Lovely fresh white bedding and clean towels provided. We enjoyed the use of the coffee machine and the ‘wonky pods’ menu was great to have a change of coffee option each day. A wonderful stay, would definitely be checking if this was available again if we were looking for a place nearby! I can see why other guests have stayed multiple times! Thanks Sophie!

John and Lindsay were perfect hosts, friendly and approachable. The annex was as described and more as the facilities offered exceeded expectations. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. Great location to walk from on Cinder track or Cleveland Way. Good public transport links and good pubs in the village and nearby.

Lovely house in a beautiful location with stunning views of the countryside! Great communication from the host, April, meant the property was easy to find. Highly recommend.

We’ve just had a beautiful stay after a family day at flamingoland. The annexe is spotless, well decorated and very spacious. The photos don’t do it justice. Felt at home straight away, and I was able to get a pizza delivered for the kids. The girls really loved the piano, garden, games, and bunk bed. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for having us :)

this flat was amazing for our short stay in Whitby. Val was a very great host, extremely helpful with her recommendations of what to do in the town. the place was very clean and we especially loved that we were able to use Netflix for a little movie night in! nothing to complain about.

Chris was the best host ever. He remained in contact throughout our stay, and checked we were okay with everything. He gave us plenty of recommendations for food, drink, places to go and things to do. The accommodation was 300m to the lower part of the town, and close to public footpaths and the river Nidd. The accommodation is small, but it’s top class.
