What a beautiful and relaxing place to go. A true hikers treehouse to escape to and unwind.

Celeste was an exceptionally friendly host. She responded quickly and was a delight to interact with. Her house was quiet and nestled in the beautiful, peaceful mountains, offering amazing views. The front porch was perfect for enjoying early-morning coffee and watching fireflies in the late evening. The house provided everything we needed for a quick getaway. We will definitely be returning soon!

Absolutely loved our stay here. I'll say our Kia K5 didnt make it up the driveway but it was a nice walk up, use caution if your feeble. The house is so beautifully decorated when you walk threw the door, the live plants made it feel like home as soon as they were spotted. The kitchen was so cute and had everything we needed to cook, the living room was so cozy with the cutest plaid touches to make it pop. The video projector was amazing, we were trying to unplug but took advantage of movies on the couch. The clawfoot tub was one of my favorite things, after hiking it was nice to relax alone. The hot tub outside was so nice, imagine being surrounded by dark folliage for privacy while relaxing, it was also directly beside the sauna. Both surrounded by dense trees for privacy. It was amazing! Hailey was absolutely amazing, before arriving she reached out to let us know if we needed anything she was a few minutes away. During our stay she reached out to make sure things were still great.

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

We loved our stay at the cottage. The airbnb was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished. The bed was dreamy with nice cotton sheets. The kitchen had pretty much everything you need to do a little cooking. The owners thoughtfully had provided ground coffee and filters for the drip coffeemaker, salt, pepper, and olive oil. The screened in back porch was lovely with a view of trees. Lots of little thoughtful touches- nightlight in the bath, jewelry box next to the bed. Good AC/heat. Electric fireplace and large flat-screen TV in the living room. The location was close to town and all the shops and great restaurants. We especially liked the brisket nachos at Highlands Smokehouse, the salmon BLT at the Ugly Dog Saloon and the Bluegrass brunch at the Highlander Mountain House. Lovely place. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This is our fifth year staying here for Thanksgiving. Chris is a great host. We love the location, it is within walking distance to downtown. The house is very comfortable and we feel right at home there.

Kathy is an amazing host, and the accommodations are exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested to extend another night! Very welcoming peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous stone FP and kitchen backsplash. Decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were excellent. We had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed with treats and a dog toy. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to be close to Brevard and the surrounding areas. We will stay again when in the neighborhood. Don and the rental were fantastic. I can only wish that every Air BnB was done this well. Water on every table. The bathroom had everything you might have forgotten. The fridge had soda and water in it. Even had a Smores setup for the firepit outside. I will be back here regularly and Don's place will always be my first choice. Dons hospitality was world class. It is very hard to find genuine hospitality and Don hit it off the mountain.

I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

I really enjoyed my stay, it felt very homey. The bed is comfy, the area is peaceful and quiet. Owners are communicative. It was my first time, I would stay here again as I love visiting the Tallulah Gorge area. The cell signal is very good once arriving, there is no service on the short drive from town up the mountain.

Amazing stay in Barbara’s garage apartment. Our daughter loved feeding the pigs and we loved being surrounded by the woods. Excellent communication and ease of stay. Would stay here again and again

I loved everything about my stay at Hi-Horse! I was traveling solo for this trip for work and needed the peace and serenity of Hi-Horse. The views were magical and the hot tub was so relaxing! Tanya went the extra mile to make my stay extra special. There was a sweet note and chilled bottle of wine upon my arrival. She also created a wonderful digital guest manual that was so helpful as a guide for outings and where to eat. I would highly recommend Hi-Horse to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway and I will be back!

Second time staying here, place was clean and well stocked. Great location for exploring the area.

My wife and I honeymooned here . The place was beautiful, spacious and clean . With a view that was TO DIE FOR. The last night we met Jose , we talked with him for a bit . Very very nice guy ! Between the views , the place in general and Jose’s hospitality we will definitely be back if ever in Maggie vally!! 100000 out of 10 all around amazing !!!

We highly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the covered screened in porch, as it rained for much of our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Damien is helpful and friendly and responded quickly. Overall this is one of the nicer Air Bnb's we have stayed in. We will definitely be back and stay at one of his properties in the future.

Wendy waited for us for check in at night and was always available when we needed something. The place was better than the pictures. Beautifull views and really clean. golf cart was fun and games room in clubhouse kept us entertained in rainy days. beautiful community and people

This place exceeded all the high expectations we had going in. The view cannot be done justice with the photos. We have stayed in a bunch of places in the NC mountains and this was by far the most beautiful view we have ever seen. We also didn’t realize just how great it would be to have access to the lake club facilities just by staying in the reserve. Aurelia was super responsive, friendly and helpful. If it’s available, we hope we can stay again next year!

Location was great with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Waves of nostalgia in every nook and cranny of this house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed admiring the pictures, decorations, books and furniture! Preparing meals in the kitchen was an absolute treat. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped kitchen. The serving platters, cooking utensils, cookware and glassware were enjoyed by all! The home was clean and so peaceful. The fireplace was just icing on the cake! Everyone enjoyed our family trip and we hope to return!

My family enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at Craig's Encore at the end of Lake Nantahala. We have stayed in many places, and this home was truly exceptional with every detail considered. We enjoyed watching Lake Nantahala change throughout the day, paddled in the kayaks, swam, soaked in the hot tub, relaxed and had fun outings renting a boat one day and tubing down the Nantahala River the next. It was truly memorable, and the only drawback was the long drive in over gravel, but that's what makes it so peaceful and remote. The lake was never busy and such a big change from so many crowded and touristed spots. We hope we made a good impression and will be welcomed back. This is truly a loved and cherished family home, and we appreciate Craig sharing it with us.
