Cabin holiday rentals in Hillsboro

Andrea was great! Gave us good recommendations for places to eat and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The cabin(little smokies in Blue Creek) was very clean with lots of room to stretch out and has an awesome hot tub on the new back deck. You won't go wrong with this cabin or Andrea as your host.

This was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed spending time as a family playing shuffleboard and pool, fishing, walking the golf cart paths, and sitting around a bonfire. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals on the deck overlooking the meadow and pond.

Just WOW!!!! Franks place was PERFECT for my husband and I. The place was SPOTLESS! Thank you so much for that! Robes and slippers for the hot tub! The hot tub was so great for relaxing. We sat for hours around the fire pit talking. Yes there was wood and fire starters. There is no wifi which was perfect for us! Also there was coffee supplied! Everything was thought of even a charcoal and gas grill. There is a Walmart 15 minutes away or the amish market down the road. Door dash did deliver from save a lot! During the day we cruised every back road down to the Ohio River. Beautiful countryside down through there. Great trip! Loved the town of Hillsboro and the location of the cabin. Cabin was lovely besides the stink bugs, these were a serious problem. Lots of dead ones everyone and definitely had an infestation, took about 6 live ones outside in our 3 day trip. Definitely something to look into but other than that everything else was perfect!

The cabin was beautiful and clean. It was well appointed with some unexpected nice touches. The hot tub jets didn’t work, but other than that it was perfect. I highly recommend.

This was our second time staying here. Wonderful caring host! Farm Fresh eggs in the fridge and s’mores ready for guests! Rebecca was very sweet and took the best care of our family. Beautiful yard and the kids love the hot tub. One thing to note. Bathroom is on main level, bedrooms are both upstairs. But it’s adorable to say the least!

Beautiful cabin in serene surroundings! I want to live there! I was in town from out of state visiting family and would love to stay there again on my next visit.

Very kind and helpful host. The place was in a secluded area and was exactly how it was described. Very clean and overall just nice. Had no problems and would definitely recommend.

I loved this stay ! It was in a beautiful location , I walked up the road and found a pear tree , behind the house there’s a beautiful open field. I will be returning ! Only thing is that there wasn’t any salt and pepper like listed . But I didn’t mind too much. Also to note I stayed during a warm season and struggle sleeping in the heat, the AC unit is in the living room so that it where I slept during my stay. Host was very responsive and friendly, there are stores nearby with everything you need. I felt very safe here and held by the beautiful surrounding nature.

We loved the little lake ‘camp’. It was well stocked, comfortable and funky in the best way. Jeffrey was very helpful in communicating with us, the yard and neighborhood was calm and pretty and we enjoyed our stay.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Tom's cabin. He is very responsive and gets back right away. Great location for us. We will stay again if the opportunity calls us!

Loved our time here! The house was as advertised, spacious, lots of amenities for kiddos and adults. Comfortable beds. Clean. Very quiet and the bedrooms were DARK in the morning with all the trees. Lovely cabin in the woods.

out of all the places me and my wife have stayed, this was one of our top stays. Joe was extremely friendly and easy to talk too. he made us feel welcome and was a pleasant person to talk too. there was a lot to see and take in. I would recommend this stay too anyone! we would love to stay there again and so far we plan too! thank you, joe!

We adored the cabin and its surroundings. Everything was well-stocked and ready for use. Relaxing on the porch with a river view was perfect for a weekend recharge.

Jessica is a fantastic host! Very quick to respond and very quick to help with any needs, needed an additional night and she set us up at another one of her locations which was right across the street. Will definitely stay at one of her locations when in the area again.

Cute, well maintained cabin with everything you could need and more while staying away from home. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy.

Super private, quiet, just the right size for our Mother/ Daughter Get Away! Loved the scenery. Felt like a cabin up in the trees. The museum was like a nature brain snack - 20 mins to read and appreciate info of surroundings. 2 trails just right for us, 1 mile, 1/2 mile we did both one after the other! Wear the right shoes, be careful, beautiful Rock Fork Gorge! That's where the word gorgeous MUST come from! Outdoor drama Tecumseh was 30 mins away- added so much to the meaning of trip! We walked where native Americans lived in harmony with the land. Admire and respect this nonprofit for investing time, treasure and talents to preserve and restore thus natural habitat. Thank you doesn't seem enough!!! Highlight of our summer for sure!!!!!!

Excellent stay! The host was very responsive and kind. The space was clean and comfortable. Liz provided every detail that would be useful. Centrally located to all things in Augusta!

This was a perfect little getaway. My 13-year-old son loved being able to fish. Out of our entire spring break this was his favorite spot!

I really loved the property and the spaciousness of the accommodations. The property was absolutely beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. It was right down the road from the serpent mound, which was the reason I traveled to that location. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely amazing. Steve and I really didn’t communicate much but I prefer that unless I need something. If we come back to this area, I will definitely stay here again.

This place is fantastic! The cabin is gorgeous, with so much love in the details. There are toys for the kids, basketball outside, a river to play in, and a fire pit. Such a relaxing location with excellent hiking trails nearby.

The weather wasn't that nice, but it made us appreciate the home that much more. It was so relaxing staying indoors and watching the rain through all the windows around the house. We had a relaxing nap before going out for dinner. It's so peaceful out there. And we absolutely LOVE that shower. Thank you for sharing the home with us.
