Within walking distance of Noordzeestrand and Waddenkust, in picturesque Hollum, is the restored historic building "den Eerste Stuiver", once the inn where sailors who arrived on Ameland spent their "first penny" to quench their thirst. Our apartment (88m2) has a central hall, 2 spacious bedrooms (box spring beds), a modern kitchen, luxury bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, washing machine and dryer, central heating. From the spacious living room, you step through French doors onto the terrace.

When dining in the evening, the light of the lighthouse will ensure a stunning island feeling. A fresh dive in the morning is available at the very rustic beach at the other side of the dunes (about 15 minutes walk). Our house has 5 bedrooms, a great living room with a (gas) fireplace, a cosy kitchen with kitchen island, a beautiful dining room and a ‘spa’ with sauna and tanning bed.
