New B&B in Groningen What was first used as a warehouse has been transformed into a B&B of no less than 75 m2 with the appearance of a loft, on the outskirts of Groningen. The newly built warehouse 14 is 4 km away from the city center. Loods 14 is located between two Groningen waters, namely the Damsterdiep and the Eemskanaal. The dormitory in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage, where you can intensely enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can accommodate up to 5 people. Children can have fun on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

A cosy, authentic house down-town east. Fully equipped, very comfortable. You can spot the 'Martinitoren' from the house! Within a 5 minutes walk you are on the 'Grote Markt'. Many restaurant and pubs are in the neighbourhood. The academic hospital (UMCG) is at a 100 meters-distance. Big plus is the parking-space in our secluded back-yard (for that: max. height of your car around 5'10). In the living-room is a Smart-TV (you can enjoy Netflix with your own subscription). A great place to stay!

The Nije Bosrand in Gasselte

This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and thus equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

Bungalow Pura Vida with Jacuzzi in nature reserve

In a beautiful nature reserve and within walking distance of swimming lakes Gasselterveld/'t Nije Hemelriek, our recently modernized vacation home is located in a quiet bungalow park and offers a lot of privacy with sunny and shady spots. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

The Wandelschuur

The Wandelschuur is on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Waddenzee and Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, moreover, there are no houses and buildings to see when you look out through the high glass facade with French doors. The Wandelschuur is a wooden cottage on a residential yard. You will sleep in the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for mudflat walking, a day in Schiermonnikoog, hiking, cycling around Lauwersmeer, eating fish, etc. :)

Our detached house is right on the water, with a connection to the Zuidlaardermeer. Nearby you will find everything you need for a successful stay: beach, cozy terraces, nature parks, charming villages, amusement parks and wellness resorts. The bustling city of Groningen can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car or train! The house is the perfect base for exploring the area in any season, but at the house and in the spacious garden it is wonderfully relaxing!

Peace and quiet in the Drenthe countryside and time to catch your breath. That is what you will experience in our guesthouse. In our garden, you will not meet anyone else besides our family in a day. Lots of sound from the birds and in the evening a beautiful starry sky in clear weather. In short, the ultimate place to retreat to. For extra relaxation, organic breakfast, organic dinner (Friday and Saturday) and wellness are available on request.

Spend the night in a salon car between the horses.

This cozy saloon car is in the yard between the horses, chickens and geese. Enjoy the simplicity of this nice place with a fireplace, your own kitchen, box bed and 'outdoor' shower and toilet (see photos). The car can be heated by a pellet stove and equipped with all comforts for a restful stay. A made bed, clean towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning are included in the price.
