Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ilmenau

Beautiful cozy house with sauna and garden and ideally located to explore the area. We felt super comfortable, the check-in with the key box was very convenient and easy and communication with Diana very friendly and uncomplicated. We would book the Swedish house again right away!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very cozy and offered us exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. We particularly liked the idyllic location - it was incredibly peaceful and we were able to really unwind. Our children were thrilled, because right next door there was a beautiful stream where they could play for hours. That was really perfect for us as a family. A special thank you goes to the hosts Helge and Conny. They were incredibly nice and welcomed us very warmly. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for a break surrounded by nature.

We booked the place for a weekend and celebrated our family reunion there. We particularly liked the secluded location and the proximity to the forest. The children could play carefree outdoors, also the large group room with long table and cozy oven was just great! Thank you!

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

We were greeted very warmly and kindly by Silke. She showed us the very tastefully furnished rooms, was very eager to make the stay by naming excursion destinations, places... pleasant. Her husband took us on an insider city tour of Weimar, Silke brought us fresh eggs in the morning, put delicious homemade jam on the table, offered us fresh herbs and salad from her garden. We felt very comfortable and "safe". Silke and her husband are two valuable people. Thank you for the beautiful and relaxing stay

The stay was really nice. The property is immersed in nature and has a lot to offer. Our highlights were the heated outdoor hot tub and the lower fireplace. When the weather is nice, you can hike wonderfully in the immediate vicinity, in bad weather the accommodation offers plenty of distraction. Highlighted is the protection of the property and the accommodation. I haven't felt so safe in any place so far. In addition, Manuela was very quick to respond to my messages and always a solution ready. Thanks for that!

We stayed in this rustic accommodation for four days. There was room for dogs and children and us adults. The play equipment and also the board games that are available invite you to play together outside and inside. There were enough bathrooms and toilets for the number of people booked (13). The kitchen was well equipped and a big plus were the available appliances and dishwasher tabs in the kitchen. We were lucky enough to be able to grill twice in wonderful weather. The table outside is also sufficient for the large number of people. The contact with Evelin was great and her response times very short. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We came as a family with two small children. We felt very comfortable. For the children, all toys were on site. Super outdoor area with trampoline, swings, chairs, sandbox, skateboard... Beautiful living space with loving furnishings. 3 toilets. 1 shower and a bathtub. Everything you need. Kitchen super equipped. Ideal for families with up to 5 children.

We stayed for 3 nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The place was as beautiful as in the photos and everything you need was available. Great work has been done here in the conversion to a vacation home and the loving decor. There is a discount store around the corner, the tram is also nearby and you can also walk to the old town super fast. It's quiet at night. We would come back.

I have never experienced such a tasteful and thoughtful decor at all. Really thought of everything one could use as a guest. Just great - loving details everywhere.

Very suitable as a work accommodation. The communication with Martin was great and a special request was also fulfilled immediately. The price-performance ratio fits! The building from the outside is not very pretty, but everything is easy to use from the inside. Bed and linens were good and in the kitchen there was everything you need to cook even small dishes yourself. The toilet is very small and in the hallway, since I booked the place as a work place and was mostly out of the house, everything was ok for me

Super great place - we would definitely come back if we are in Weimar again. On foot a nice walk to the center(about 15 min), quietly located, have breakfast beautifully undisturbed on the terrace in the sun. Also equipped 1A; even with extras such as slippers (is also quite cold foot), various Playing and books, hot water bottle, coffee grinder & milk frother, tea, spices, etc.

The castle is great for a family reunion. Plenty of space, clean, sufficient dishes and generally well thought-out kitchen equipment. Even toys for children are thought of. We will be happy to come back!

Possibly one of the most beautiful air bnbs there is. Definitely the most beautiful in Eisenach. We felt very comfortable.

Rocco's place is a great insider tip. In an absolutely beautiful, quiet location, but still so well located that you can walk to the old town/center. Communication with Rocco was great, he always responded very quickly to inquiries. We expected an apartment furnished with attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect venue for a visit with friends in Gehren. The home was cozy, comfortable and well-provisioned. It was a perfect home base for all of the walking we did while visiting. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay with a prime location. We enjoyed the evening very much and had a wonderful view of the Wartburg. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. A small defect was immediately fixed so that we and the subsequent guests could find a great accommodation. We will be happy to come back.

A perfect retreat in the Thuringian Forest We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this beautiful cottage and it was just amazing. The location is incredibly quiet, ideal for those looking for relaxation and recreation. The spacious garden invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. The modern decor of the house is stylish and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to an excellent restaurant serving delicious local specialties. For families with children, the nearby playground is a big plus. Overall a wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the Thuringian Forest. We will definitely be back!

Very nice house without a lot of frills, stylishly furnished. Good hiking trails nearby. Restaurants are not easy to find.

We (6 adults and 4 children) spent an extended weekend in Susann and Sebastian's house and felt very comfortable. The house offers enough space and is well equipped. In the house, you will find plenty of tips for excursions. Communication with Susann was easy and pleasant.

A beautiful place with a quiet area. Everything was very clean and everything you needed was there. The hosts are very friendly and available for any question and very helpful. The house is furnished with a lot of love and invites you to relax. In any case, we will return.
