Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ilmenau

It is a unique opportunity to live in a 500-year-old perfectly renovated old rectory for a while, which we have enjoyed very much.

Excellent, clean and spacious apartment. Loved the area around with the Storks nest and other birds of prey flying around.

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems on arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very beautiful and super suitable for small hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and grill. Shops and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We'll be back!

Our time with Eileen and Michael was great! All as described and super nice hosts! We are very happy about the time in Haus Relax and will be very happy to come back.

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best wishes and thank you for the wonderful days in Thuringia.

At the Saale hellem beach..... a very nice, quiet location to explore the area. Fox and rabbit like to run into you. The process goes uphill or downhill. The rapeseed smells wonderful, not all sights were already open. A car is recommended. The time was too short to explore and enjoy everything. The place is really recommended!!! The forest hideaway really lives up to its name :) It is quiet, close to the forest and totally cozy. We spent the Rennsteiglauf weekend here and were able to relax and take care of ourselves well before and after the race. It would definitely be worth coming back and exploring the area better.

Our stay was simply great, we felt right at home. The apartment really offers everything you have at home. The bed is a dream😌. Everything is very clean, bright, spacious, even a generous freezer is available. Lots of nature directly within walking distance but also many possibilities to do something by car (Erfurt/Weimar/Coburg) 😊 but even after 1 week stay - the time was far too short. The contact with Nicole and her family was also very nice, you felt welcome right away🤗. We really lacked nothing, definitely worth a visit - be it for hiking, for city trips or simply to relax again. We had a nice weekend in the apartment, you can sit very nicely on the quiet terrace, overall it is very quiet. You also have a beautiful view outside from the bed in the attic, which you can reach via a staircase. The kitchen on the ground floor is very well equipped. There is an EDEKA in the village, there are restaurants nearby, but call to be sure. Overall, a very good starting point for tours in the Thuringian Forest. We would like to come back again =)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was super clean, very well equipped and has a nice terrace. Of course, the sauna is outstanding, which we liked to use. The place is highly recommended!

The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished, the location to the city center perfect. The only downside: The supermarket next door was supplied from 6 a.m., so our days started quite early... The contact with Sebastian was great! Everything invites you to come back.

You immediately feel at home in the apartment. Everything was as described and also in the photos everything is reproduced - only in reality it was even more beautiful. A great city apartment, it doesn't get any more central. Very good that a parking space is available - would otherwise be difficult in the old town. Our dog also felt comfortable - since he is very vigilant, there were of course some situations at the beginning due to the noise transmission, to which he had to get used - but that also worked out! All around a perfect stay in a great, lovingly furnished apartment right in the historic old town of the beautiful city of Bad Langensalza! We'll be back!

We had a nice week stay at Angelika's. Shops are nearby, the tram station is also just 5 minutes away. It's a nice, privates apartment with all sorts of kitchen equipment and toys for kids. We can only recommend a stay at Angelika's! 😊

We were in Coburg for a short stay and were looking for and found an inexpensive and child-friendly accommodation. The kitchen equipment was great and the beds were comfortable. However, our highlight was the cozy play corner, which our almost 3-year-old daughter did not want to leave. We had a great time ☀️

The apartment is wonderfully beautiful and in the heart of the old town with a view of a green oasis, just behind the Krämerbrücke. The apartment is cozy and furnished with heart, 100% feel-good factor. Lieselotte is nice and uncomplicated and always easy to reach.

Great location in the middle of Erfurt. Great restaurants, scenic and great transportation. Space was perfect for what we needed and it was very clean when we arrived (like new). Very easy to communicate with host.
