Holiday rentals with beach access in Johns Island

Place was clean and nice. Location was fantastic. Lots of food and drink in walking distance. Beach was never crowded because the public could not get in through the Sea Cabins entrance.

Loved the house and location. We were just far enough from downtown that we couldn’t hear the live music but close enough that it was easily walkable. We also liked being next to the pickleball court. Overall great place and easy access to Charleston for a couple day trips. Would definitely recommend!

Great spot only 3 blocks from the beach!

My sister, our friend and I stayed at Jills air bnb for four days! Our stay was everything we wanted and more! First, Jills responsiveness and flexibility was 10/10! We had an early flight into Charleston and a late flight out. Jill was flexible and responsive when we inquired about an early/late check in/out. Second, the air bnb was adorable! We had our own private entrance and the bathroom was a perfect space to get ready in with your friends! There was plenty of space in the air bnb but we did not feel overwhelmed! Third, Jill herself was a kind and personable host! We also had the pleasure of meeting her son, who was just as kind! Jill and her family were very welcoming and provided us with recommendations for local activities. We would stay with Jill again in a heartbeat!

Alex and Karen were wonderful hosts! Very responsive, kind, and knowledgeable about the area. They even provide a list of recommended restaurants in the area. Old village in Mount Pleasant is a great central place to stay. Close to beaches and also close to downtown Charleston. Would stay again!

Amazing bnb just steps to the beach. We went to burts, a 24 hour market before the beach and stocked up on snacks and drinks and walked straight into the beach every day. It was 20 mins from downtown Charleston where we were able to do several tours and museums during the day, And then come back to the bnb and relax at the beach or many restaurants in walking distance to the bnb. Entering the apartment was super easy and the check out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We had an awesome stay and hope we find ourselves in folly beach again soon.

We came for a wedding and had a lovely stay. The interior was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for the two of us and we really appreciated the beach chairs. Would highly recommend it! Hope to visit again one day!

Our family of 4 (2 kids) plus our dog had an amazing stay at Michelle's place! The house is beautiful, quiet, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. Having bikes, beach towels, and some other things for the beach readily available in their garage is so helpful. We will definitely plan to stay again!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful condo in Seabrook Island! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The unit was exactly as described—clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Lecian was a wonderful host—warm, responsive, and attentive. She promptly answered all our questions and made communication a breeze. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gesture: a snack basket and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived—such a pleasant surprise! We had planned to grill one evening but noticed the gas tank was nearly empty. Lecian wasted no time and had a replacement tank delivered the very same day. She also graciously offered us a late checkout on our departure day, which was very much appreciated. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the Beach Club. We enjoyed taking the provided bicycles on a quick five-minute ride to the club to relax by the pool and dine at Pelicans Nest. Can't wait to return!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Folly Beach! The location truly couldn’t be better—just steps from the beach and walking distance to all the action, including great bars, restaurants, and even a grocery store. It made everything so easy and enjoyable. The hosts were extremely responsive, attentive, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Folly Beach!

Great place! We loved how close it was to town. We walked every where. The house was perfect for us and our toddler. The best thing is the lost dog cafe next door. We are there for breakfast every day.

Place is exactly like the pictures. My dog loved the huge backyard as well. its a really nice and walkable neighborhood! Being so close to Park Circle and being super close to downtown made the trip super fun! The only problems we had were train horns being pretty loud and often at night so had to get used to that, not a big deal at all, and wifi issues, especially connectivity and speed but the host did their best to accommodate for that.

We had a fantastic stay at "Blackbeard's Captains Quarters" in Folly Beach. This cozy one-bedroom was just right for our small family, including our toddler. The location is perfect: a quick five-minute walk to the beach via the public access trail. The house was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and coffee bar. The king-size bed in the bedroom was super comfortable, and the fold-out bed was great, too. The neighborhood block is quiet, and we loved the fun backyard space. Parking was a non-issue (you can park in front or back of the property). The outdoor shower was nice (right next to the entry door), and the public laundry room had plenty of beach chairs for our use. Our host, David, was exceptional—proactive, communicative, and provided clear check-in/check-out instructions. This place is a gem for small families or anyone seeking a compact, comfortable stay. Highly recommend! Five stars!

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate a family birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time! The house's location is peaceful and private and the sunrises every morning were sublime. Would absolutely stay again!

What an absolutely wonderful place! Beautifully decorated, amazing little touches, right across from the beach, peaceful, great parking — a perfect spot for Folly Beach and Charleston exploration. Highly recommend!

Great location for easy driving to beach, restaurants, and other places of interest!

Two words: absolutely wonderful! Felt right at home the moment we walked in. It was exactly as pictured and described. Close to everything. 20 minutes from Charleston and 5 min drive to ocean. Beautiful water views from porch. Also enjoyed time at the pool. Fully stocked kitchen. We will be returning again.

Everything was awesome. The only negative was we didn’t end up getting check-in access until about 5pm the first day, but we did get an hour later checkout. Would stay again for sure

This lovely condo on this gorgeous island was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. We loved it from the moment we walked in. It is well laid out with comfortable, attractive furniture and supplied with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The living areas and all bedrooms have large windows offering stunning ocean views. Outside, the beach goes on forever and is great for long walks. We were happy to have the many balconies and spent a lot of time out there for morning coffee, evening chats, and in between activities. Candace is a great host. If you are thinking of visiting Kiawah, this is an excellent place to stay.

Great apartment right near Folly Beach. On fourth floor with good views, no elevator so you need to be able to carry what you need up stairs. On main road but high enough that it’s quiet. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. About 20 min drive from Charleston, and a bit more to Mt Pleasant, where you can take the ferry to Fort Sumter, tour the Yorktown, etc. Lots of tourists on weekend in main part of town, which is about a 5 min drive. Lots of places to eat nearby, as well as a couple grocery stores on way in. Very comfortable stay!

It was clean and we liked the house and the island, the pool and beach were great too. Be sure to order your amenity card at least two weeks before check in if you would like to swim or use other amenities the first day you check in, otherwise you may not be able to get the amenity card right away.

Jennifer and Chase were quick to respond to any hiccups that we encountered. The location of the condo was perfect for what we were there for. It was easy to access the beach and a very close walk to the pool. The condo was well stocked with basic essentials, and the decorations were aesthetically pleasing. Parking was plentiful and the overall area felt safe. We loved walking to the ice cream shop and having dole whip. The Acme restaurant was also an easy walk from the condo and I would recommend trying it. There’s a grocery store within a 4 minute drive and the location is close enough to do a nice day trip in Charleston. The coffee shop down the street from the condo wasn’t my cup of tea, but they were friendly and if you just need a quick pick me up it’ll do the trick. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would come back the Sea Cabins.

Tracey’s place was spotless and had a great view of the ocean. It was our first time visiting the area and Tracey was quick to respond with recommendations for dinner and things to do. We were very happy with our accommodations.
