Monthly Rentals in Kalamo

Everything was excellent, we felt right at home. Our host, Tyler, was extremely kind to us, and my dogs enjoyed the backyard. Tyler was very attentive to our needs. He even went to help us look for our kitten, who had disappeared (she was finally home, super hidden), but he found out and immediately went to help us and asked the neighbors. This was invaluable to us. So, of course, my rating is 10 out of 10, absolutely recommended.

Mark was very friendly host. His place was very inviting like you were walking into a family or friend’s home. Very spacious and decorated very cute. And don’t even let me get started on how great the showers are!! Would definitely stay there again.

This place was perfect for a weekend get away! Very beautiful and peaceful. Mary was the perfect host and was quick to answer any questions I had!

I went to Stephanie’s place for a few days to celebrate my birthday last week. It is a literally perfect getaway. First, the location is amazing. It’s located on the east side of Thornapple Lake in the River. She has a floating dock- prefect for my bass boat. It’s a quiet place, yet it’s close to Nashville and Hastings. I LOVED that there was no WiFi. It forces you to disconnect and be outside. It’s got comfortable beds and plenty of space to stretch out. It has a beautiful back yard, with grills and a riverside fire pit. If you like to fish, BRING YOUR BOAT! We landed 3 musky (40”, 38” and 34” with a couple much bigger that followed) 4 pike (2 over 32”) and a bass. There is an awesome park and boat launch close by. Finally, Stephanie and her husband are WONDERFUL hosts. They couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating. In short- if you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it- you will NOT be disappointed! I will be back numerous times in the future!
