Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kearny

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

Mark is an extremely responsive host. The cottage was quaint and had exactly what we needed for our stay. It was clean, and he was proactive about communication with us as well as responsive when we had questions. The area has lots of great restaurants but is still safe and quiet. We will absolutely be back as I visit the area often. Five star review!

Me and my wife stayed at Gina’s place for a weekend to visit NYC and see a couple shows! It’s a nice space, and very close to both Newark airport and NYC. We went to Radio city music hall one night for a show and it was only a 40 min drive away. We also saw another show the next night at MetLife stadium, which was only 20 min drive away. Very close to a lot of places around NYC area. The space was very clean and perfect for the two of us, there is a bed big enough for two people to sleep in but they also had a pull out couch that was also very comfortable. Place was very clean and Instructions to check in / out were very simple! Gina is a good communicator and met us when we got there to give us keys and show us how to get in / out of the apartment. Highly recommend for an affordable stay close to NYC !

My wife and I stayed here for about 2 weeks and it was a great stay for us. The apartment was spacious and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Pradeep was super responsive and gracious by offering an early check-in and late check-out at no charge. The location was great - yes about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Path Train Station that takes you to NY City or Hoboken. Will definitely recommend this apartment. Aida's residence was stunning and conveniently located near Met Life Stadium and New York City. Aida's home was tidy, the beds were cozy, and the overall ambiance was lovely, complemented by her exceptional hosting skills! We will definitely return.

Stayed for a month on a clinical rotation in the area. Easy to follow instructions for getting inside. Kitchen had all the basics for cooking, plenty of space to store food in the cabinets, full sized fridge, and a gas range. Bathroom was clean, water always was hot, washer/ dryer was very nice to have. Large wire rack thing to hang/ store clothes. Bed was soft, pull out couch bed was firmer so you have some options. Gas heater worked great even with sub freezing temps out. Smart tv worked well. Parking seemed fine to me, always found parking just over the small bridge next to the place, just mind the street sweeping signs so you don't get a ticket, only saw a car get ticketed for parking along the bridge itself twice. Iron/ board, broom, and vacuum in the unit if you need it. Footsteps upstairs like anywhere else where people live above you but no parties or crazy amounts of noise. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in the area.

Our family stayed 5 nights over Xmas 24 , such a great warm feeling at the property . House was fully equipped with everything , internet was first class , the host was so helpful , no wonder his place was booked out . I didn’t want to leave .

Very cozy place, the bathroom was very nice and the open concept kitchen/living room. The only thing that I noticed was the floors creaking loudly and the bathroom door handle jams, but other than that it’s worth the visit and the NJ Transit was within a reasonable walking distance. The host is also very sweet and helped us throughout the entire time

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was cozy the bed was so comfortable and soft which is what I loved the most.. the kitchen is absolutely beautiful.. I didn’t have to bring anything to cook with as far as utensils or pots because they had everything. Also there is a supermarket right across the street. The hosts were so nice and responsive about any questions that I had or concerns they would respond to me right away. I will definitely be renting again.

Benjamin was a great host and very responsive. We have 3 dogs that travel with us and sometimes finding an Airbnb can be difficult. With a dedicated parking spot and grassy fenced in back yard this Airbnb was perfect for us. The space looked just like the photos, clean and everything we needed. The location was great, a quick walk to the light rail and we were able to get over to the city quickly. Will definitely be looking to book here again when we travel this way in the future.

Tim & Stacey were fabulous hosts! They had birthday decorations and a hand written note waiting for us upon arrival. They were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was very clean and spacious. Walkable to many places and a quick, easy trip to NYC. Highly recommend! One of the best air bnb experiences I’ve ever had!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

Being welcomed by the entire family to getting end to end support during the stay, it was a great experience staying at this bnb .. amazing view , kitchen fully stacked , very prompt response , extremely helpful attitude… would recommend stay here if you want to be just around NYC but don’t want the hustle bustle of the city

Very good spot and host. Very easy to get to NYC with Path trains and return after midnight. The apartment is as advertise. We had small issue with smoke detector as it is super sensetive, but host was really helpful with it.

This location was perfect for my entire family and accommodated seven comfortably. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who’s interested in staying in Hoboken. I would even consider staying again myself. Laurie was very accommodating the first day because we arrived into town early and she was able to accommodate our luggage before check-in. That was extremely helpful to us helped us. Laurie as a host is a five star as well as her location. Thank you once again for an enjoyable stay.
