Holiday rentals with a patio in Kendal

Perfect location for our long weekend away in the Lakes. Ann was a lovely host and check-in was easy. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Thank you!

This is our second visit to Raymond's. It is a fab, cosy little cottage in an beautiful area. If you like walking, birdwatching, nature, scenery - you cannot go wrong. If we ever want a weekend away from it (not in our caravan) we would definitely come here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Primrose and appreciated that it had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing experience. The apartment looked just as shown in the pictures and is situated in a wonderful location. We would gladly recommend it and are looking forward to our next visit.

A charming well appointed little apartment. It was beautifully clean and tidy. If Main Street Haworth is your focus it’s quite a steep walk to get there but worth it. Having free parking so close is a real bonus. Dealing with Ruth was easy and she was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Laurel. The apartment is beautifully renovated and well laid out. For the most part it is well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed watching the baby deer in the field each morning. 5 min drive away there’s an amazing artisan bakery and an ice cream shop. For guests with younger children there’s also a fantastic play park at Staveley. We had a couple of problems (missing travel cot on arrival, hot water turned off a couple of times) but the host was friendly and extremely quick to respond.

A great find in the middle of beautiful countryside, just right fir a mid-way stop-over between Skye and Cornwall. lovely place, with lovely little extras like dog treats, robes & slippers even milk, tea, coffee and cereal. Great place, great hosts.

We just stayed here for 2 nights as the wife was swimming the Coniston end to end and it was perfect. Well under 10 miles from Coniston, so close enough, it’s in an ideal location with a fabulous pub just across the road as well. Driveway is small, so be aware, but plenty of roadside free parking and our Renault Clio was fine parked on the drive to give you an idea. Read the arrival instructions fully before arriving and you’ll be fine. Everything was perfect and at a great price as well. Decent base for exploring the South end (and further) of the Lakes and we will return. Thank you!

Had a brilliant stay, was met by Kevin to check in, he was very informative and couldn’t offer enough advice/guidance. Vikki was very responsive during communications and always very respectful and clear. The place itself is amazing, very spacious, clean and you get plenty of towels, cutlery etc. The hot tub is very well kept and smart. The hosts are there if you need anything but leave you to total privacy. The view from the back is outstanding and we had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Fabulous home from home, within walking distance of the town, great local pubs with top class food. Lots of Bus routes to some great places and beautiful walks, what a great place many thanks for letting us stay

This was a beautiful cottage with everything you could need and more😊 Location was good just a 10 min walk into town Mason pub was really nice food and staff were great 😊 Would definitely return was a lovely stay 🥰

This is a lovely cottage approx 10 minute walk from Windermere town centre. The cottage was clean and looked like the photos provided. The hosts even left us fresh flowers, a pint of milk and a cake as a welcome gift. The only issue was that the hosts asked us not to touch the heating but after a chilly day on the Lake, we asked them to put the heating on for us. Unfortunately, they didn’t see the message for a couple of hours by which time we were going out again. Apart from that, this was a lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cute, little house in Mount Street to anyone. It was just perfect for my husband and I, and our dog. It’s not obvious from the photos how nicely furnished this house is so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The living area is bright and welcoming and the bi-fold doors out to the pretty terrace are great too. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside with a book, it felt very relaxing and nice and secluded. The entire house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything you would need and more. We were only here for a couple of days so didn’t see much of Kendal but what we did see we liked. There are lots of open grassy areas where we walked our dog before venturing further to the lakes. We also found some nice farm shops nearby. The house is well situated for anyone wanting to explore the area in the south of the lakes or if you want to head further north, like we did, Buttermere is around an hour and a half away Highly recommend!

Wonderful weekend and Appleby 24 was the perfect base for us. We loved the property, very comfortable with everything that you could beed provided. Sonal was a great host and provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and nice walks. Would definitely recommend and we would absolutely stay here again next time we visit the Lake District.

10/10, wonderful place to relax & have a day off from life. Enjoyed every moment. TV worked, which was a massive bonus. Everything was as described, worth every penny. Will be back soon. Thank you.

The host was lovely, offering to help with anything we needed. A really lovely 2 bedroom house with a good size kitchen that had everything that you’d have at home, nice and clean too. A few lovely touches with biscuits and wine on our arrival. Considering the house is so close to the shops and restaurants it was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would definitely book it again.

It was no surprise to us that our stay was pretty much perfect as this was our second visit; this time for ten nights. I honestly can't find any fault with our stay and, along with Tom, the others involved with the apartment were superb. It is the sort of place you always want to return to. Tom even managed to provide superb weather for us!!!! Everything about the place and location was perfect right down to the smallest details. I would unreservedly recommend this place to anyone. Superb!! I thought of one thing though. Tom, maybe you could provide some egg cups for old codgers like us ! Ha ha. Seriously though...a perfect stay in every way. Thank you

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

Really lovely wee place - gives a really clean vibe as soon as you walk in. Everything you need is there, but it's not at all cluttered for the space there is. Garden was great for the dogs! Only stayed 1 night as passing through on our way further South, but would definitely stay again if making a similar journey. Thanks for a lovely, clean place to stay!

A lovely break in Kirkby Lonsdale for half term. Great apartment with everything we needed and super clean.

This is the perfect getaway if you want friendly hosts, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and clean and comfortable accommodation. Julie and Paul are brilliant hosts, making us feel welcome and at home straight away. The accommodation had everything we needed (including a cork screw for the bottle of wine!). The shower was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described, clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Love the comfy sofas. Nic, the host, was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process smooth and easy. On-site parking too, which was a bonus. The location was great, pretty close to everything. Thoughtful touches, like fresh towels, coffee, milk etc. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a great stay! Sharon and Bernie.
