Everything was perfect and as described. Worth the stay. Liz was super friendly and responsive. Location was great, house was clean and had the majority of necessities.

We had an amazing stay at Sur La Mar for our girls trip! The house was clean, spacious, and perfectly set up for a large group—it made everything so easy and comfortable. The location was ideal, close to the beach and had everything we needed, and we loved having the pool to relax and hang out together. Steven was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a big group getaway or family vacation in Hilton Head.

Had a wonderful stay with my wife, son and his wife and their two young children. Brenda was great at communicating and responsive to questions/concerns. Loved the location and easy access to a pool and kayak launch. We had an amazing experience seeing dolphins on our kayaking adventure. Loved having the bikes to cruise around the island. Hope to return someday.

It’s a very enjoyable set up house. If we do the trip again, I will certainly book this place again. It worked out very well for us. Highly recommended. Great location.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hampton House! The house was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Location on the water can not be beat. All the beach toys and kayaks were a bonus. Derrick was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Our family of 5 stayed at Rick’s place for a week for spring break and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was easy walking to the beach, very fun to play in the heated pool, biking to Coligny for food, playground. We did a cookout one night in the cabana by the pool. The kids loved the bunk bed. The easy indoor/outdoor living was a delight. The TVs and remotes worked great. I enjoyed going on runs in the morning on the beach or on the biking/walking trail across the street from the house. The house had everything we could want like a stool for our 3 year old to use the bathroom sink to plenty of pool toys, beach toys, chairs, beach wagon, etc. The house also came with a pass to Sea Pines which was an unexpected treat!

Perfect house for a weekend getaway. House was beautiful and clean. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Great communication with host. Would recommend to anyone visiting Folly Beach

Wow. This is an amazing place to stay in Charleston — truly a one-of-a-kind experience! This carriage house is remarkably well done, keeping all of its unique historic character while providing all the needed/desired modern amenities. The neighborhood is so charming, as is the meticulously-kept courtyard garden. We especially enjoyed our time at The Wonderer. It’s a bit of a drive, but it gave us all the hotel perks we could have wanted while allowing us to enjoy the benefits of our own private space. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, and we loved their guide to the city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Loved our 10 day stay in this beautiful, peaceful place! The lagoon provided endless bird and gator watching. Deer strolled through the yard. First time to Kiawah Island. Loved all the bike paths available. As a side note, there is a nice grocery store 15 min away, but other than that, most shops and restaurants are 45 min away, closer to Charleston.

Nice place. Convenient to Kiawah and Freshfields. Down a side road in an older neighborhood but neighbors were friendly enough to wave. House has been remodeled and flows well. We enjoyed our stay and are ready to come back again.

10am checkout is a little too early but other than that was a great place to stay

The house was amazing and was everything we needed for our family, even the 3 teenagers had no complaints. The beach was a 5 minute drive or a very scenic 10 min bike ride. It was a peaceful location and we cannot wait to come back!

This place was absolutely beautiful and the pictures and description were very accurate! My husband and son enjoyed crabbing and fishing off the dock nightly! We enjoyed watching the boats on the Stono River! My bucket list item was Charleston and David's place was exactly what we needed for our stay! Would highly recommend!!

This house was perfect for our visit to Kiawah. It is in a prime location to enjoy all that Marathon Weekend has to offer.

We had a small group in town for a wedding, and while others in the wedding party weren’t thrilled with their Airbnbs, we absolutely loved ours. The space was great—especially the two main bedrooms, which were huge. The other two bedrooms were much smaller and probably better fitting for kids, but they still worked well enough for our group. The location was convenient and easy to access, and Courtney provided excellent instructions. The only downside was the high price, but that’s expected during peak season on Kiawah Island and seemed consistent with what others paid. Highly recommend!

Bianca and Jason really exuded great communication and comfort during our stay. Directions to the Airbnb and what to expect were well exclaimed. My fiancé and I really enjoyed the peace of the dock going towards the marsh. The space itself was inviting, well decorated, and clean. Though the space upstairs was a bit small—considering I’m 6’3–it was still comfortable for a good night’s rest. All-in-all, we are super grateful for the experience that our hosts created for our weekend stay!

I wish I could give Rachel, her house, and the local support staff 10 stars!! We had a small issue with the microwave and it was taken care of smoothly and quickly. She was so quick to respond and answered the array of questions I had prior to traveling. The house was exactly as described and so welcoming. We were all very sad to leave!! We will most definitely be back!!

We loved our stay for a Girl’s Weekend Getaway. Pictures of home are accurate and very peaceful and private location. Close walking distance to beach and The Sanctuary Hotel (1.5mile) so very easy morning or afternoon walk. Very clean and so comfortable- we felt right at home. Jenny was so responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to return.

I came here for a weekend girls trip. The home itself was beautiful with amazing views. We loved the bike paths and the proximity to freshfields and the beach. Luckily we are locals and most of us brought our own bikes, because the bikes provided were a bit rusty with flat tires. So some of us opted to drive/walk. The pool was not very warm when we first arrived and they were very responsive in terms of sending someone to the home and checking the heater. When we returned from lunch the pool was much warmer! The supplies provided were perfect for the weekend. The beds were comfortable also. It was a nice reset! I do wish the TVs were a bit bigger but that was not a make or break for us. Myself and my girls friends would all stay here again in the future!

We were in town for only two days to attend a wedding on John’s Island, and we were so lucky to find this clean, quiet, and comfortable oceanfront villa! This place was almost perfect for the two of us. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel or vacation rental that was cleaner, and clean is very important to me. Could the kitchen and bath be more updated? Of course they could—and the place could be a lot more expensive, too! We had everything we needed, with the bonus of an ocean a few steps away and NO Charleston traffic, and this lovely villa cost $200 less than the hotel reservation we cancelled when we found the Hideaway at Shipwatch. We will be back for a longer stay. To be honest, a memory foam mattress topper and some curtains in the bedroom would make us more comfortable. If you are a couple or an individual looking for a bargain oceanfront stay at a beautiful resort, consider this villa. Just read the description and look at the photos. They are accurate.

Lovely, spacious, clean, bright (lots of windows) home in a beautiful setting on Kiawah Island. The home is in a cul-de-sac, so it's very quiet and private. The beach is only 10 minutes away on bicycle. Highly recommend it.
