Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kingsdown

Just had another wonderful stay at Sea Sprite! Susan is an exceptional host who really wants her guests to have the best possible stay. The cottage is super clean and very well equipped with many basics provided. Susan has chosen very tasteful furnishings which make the cottage a really pleasant place to stay. The bed is really comfortable and plenty of towels are provided. The location is perfect - in the quiet historic part of town within a short walk of the many good restaurants, cafes and pubs in Deal. We will be back as soon as we can!

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. We stayed at Fox Barn over the May half term and, considering it was the school holidays, it was incredibly good value for money. Howard was very responsive to any queries we had and provided us with a great list of things to do and places to eat prior to us travelling down. We found Fox Barn to be perfect for our needs for a week. We were lucky with the weather but the location is absolutely perfect for exploring all that the Kent coastline has to offer. We enjoyed trips to Margate, Broadstairs, Botany Bay and Deal which are all within an hours drive and the kids loved the sandy beaches (particularly at Broadstairs). We also enjoyed Wingham Wildlife Park and Betteshanger Park, riding the mountain bike trails, as well doing some Park Run tourism at Pegwell Bay. For fans of the outdoors there really is so much to do. Fox Barn itself is a wonderful space with excellent size bedrooms, kitchen and a great dining area which we used as a family most mornings. We would happily visit again!

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

Booked this for my Husbands 70th. 5 couples so, having a bedroom with en-suite for everyone was a real find. The location was superb, everything in walking distance. Sally provided recommendations for a dinner on the Saturday evening. We went to the Royal Hotel (across the road). It was a perfect w/e and the weather helped. We had sea views and right on the front. Cinema room in the basement was fab and we couldn’t fault a thing. Thanks Sally

The House was perfect for a relaxing weekend of family time. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the equipment we needed for a large family that enjoys cooking, eating, and drinking well. We felt right at home and had a very special, relaxing and fun few days.

A wonderful house in which to relax and enjoy Deal and the surrounding area. The house was perfect with everything we could have wished for and more. Parking was explained and free a few minutes' walk from the house. For a fairly central situation, it was peaceful and calm. Felt sad to leave. Rob met us at the door with the key and we were able to say hello to Emma as we left. They responded to messages really promptly and helped us select a couple of local places to eat which were really successful. Perfect! Thank you

We really loved this stay. we had a friendly welcome, enjoyed the decoration of the room and parlour and comfort of the beds. we got a vet friendly reception and great local advice and recommendations too. Ramsgate was lovely and this area very quiet. transport around here is very good too. we walked to Margate and got the train back. Preferred Ramsgate to Margate and Broadstairs!

We had a great time in Deborah’s apartment in Deal. The house was everything the photos showed and more. Very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was fab. Would have no hesitation in rebooking or recommending this property. Thanks Deb’s

The location was perfect- you can see the sea perfectly and the place was super modern and once inside it has a feeling of luxury! Parking a little tricky, but it was free once we found somewhere and the front door wasn’t the easiest to get into but 2 super minor points as this really was such a perfect place to stay? The location was ideal for us! The bed was really comfy, beautiful kitchen and open plan living and the bathroom was WOW! Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Great place. Was bigger than expected, and had everything in close proximity. Located right on the sea front with great views of the beach and sea from all the front windows.

This flat is in a prime position to walk to Deal pier pubs restaurants and shops. It is a well appointed and comfortable flat if you don’t mind double stairways. A little bit noisy at night sometimes but not really an issue. The position is worth it. Thanks Kay

We had an amazing weekend in Dover and was very happy with our accommodation. The place was spotless and the shower had good water pressure. The garden is beautiful which was a lovely bonus to sit outsit in the evening. Host's were very friendly and caring, especially towards our 4 month old baby who also had a great time.

We had a lovely time at our stay in Folkestone. Dean’s place was so welcoming and wonderful - it felt like home! Dean himself is an amazing host. He was so communicative and accommodating at every step. The place was very clean, cosy, and well maintained and we would love to visit again!

Spacious one bedroom first floor apartment in area with lots of terrace houses and narrow streets about 10 mins walk from the center and the pier. Very clean and well equipped. Helpful owner. Would be happy to return.

Sue was terrific. She could not have been more accommodating when our party of 3 became 4 (to include a young grandson) and she provided us with cereals and goodies for him and a bed guard rail. Her lovely apartment is beautiful, light, airy and comfortably furnished with excellent quality appliances and fixtures/fittings. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. We wrapped up an incredible three-week road trip through the UK with a two-night stay at Tom’s charming coach house flat—and it was the perfect finale. This beautifully appointed second-floor, two-bedroom retreat was ideally situated, just a short and scenic walk (less than 0.8 miles) from the heart of the Old City and the Canterbury Cathedral. With restaurants and groceries conveniently located within three blocks, and every imaginable amenity thoughtfully provided within the flat—including on-property parking and breakfast essentials awaiting us—it exceeded all expectations. The comfort, location, and attention to detail made for an unforgettable stay in Canterbury. Now I truly understand why this Airbnb is so “highly rated”! Tom’s hospitality was exceptional—helpful, informative, and always clear in his communication. A truly lovely experience from start to finish.

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.
