Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

The house is ideal for couples or families who want a holiday in nature – close to the sea and surrounded by rich biodiversity. Right outside the door you will find birdsong, butterflies and a variety of wildlife that makes the stay very special.

The house is newly renovated with access to its own terrace and has the most beautiful view over a very special landscape. On starry nights, you can experience the starry sky from the bed through the studio windows in the roof. During the day, you can enjoy the special light that the location close to the sea and fjord casts over the landscape. On the ridge behind the house, there is the finest view of the Limfjord and the countryside behind. It is not far to the fjord, where there are good swimming conditions and the trip there is really beautiful.

We live in a scenic area, with a magnificent view of fields, lakes and forests. Find peace of mind and settle down in the garden or on the windowsill. The kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor, upstairs there is a cozy TV room, and with room for card or board games. It is a 10-minute drive to Fjerritslev, which is a bustling trading town with good shops and restaurants.

Remember to bring bedding and towels. It is possible, for a fee, to charge an electric car with a Refuel Norwesco charger. We expect the cottage to be left as it is received.

The summer house is located high up with a fantastic view of the countryside. It's very peaceful because it's so high. Nice large terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view. There is an associated annex located 30 meters from the main house. The annex has its own bathroom and toilet, as well as a loft where one or two children can easily sleep. The cottage was built in 2022 - so everything is new and with solar cells.
