A hidden gem by the Seine We absolutely loved our stay in Jumièges – everything was simply perfect. The house is charming and comfortable, nestled in a peaceful, green setting right by the Seine. Watching my girls play in the garden with the river as their backdrop while I read my favorite book felt like a scene from a dream – quiet, healing, and deeply comforting. Balthus the donkey quickly became a friend to all of us (especially the girls!), and Naya and Gino were the sweetest companions. Pascal is an incredibly thoughtful and warm host. He provided us with clear, detailed guidance and local tips that helped us truly make the most of our stay. This place is a perfect base to explore the gems of Normandy – Honfleur, Étretat, Rouen, the Abbey of Jumièges and more. Every day brought a new discovery, and every evening brought us peace.
