There is a bedroom with a double bed, kitchen, private bathroom and a cozy living room with a workspace and internet access. Access to the garden in the forest edge and the possibility of walking in the forest. Free parking and the house is a 10-minute walk from the bus connection to Aarhus city center. No pets allowed.

Room with small dining area, private bath and toilet, tea kitchen and private entrance. Free parking in front of the house. City buses within 100 meters and 25 minutes on foot to the city center. Self check-in and checkout. The kitchen with fridge, kettle, microwave, plates, cups and cutlery. The apartment is located in the basement of our house and some noise from the family is to be expected. By agreement, we may use the washing machine in your bathroom when you are out in the city. In addition, you have the apartment to yourselves.

Just 20 minutes from Aarhus city center, the 55 m2 apartment is located in scenic surroundings with forest, lake and a nice walking path along the river and forest. There is a rich bird life with rare Danish birds including both buzzards and kingfishers. In addition, there is a rich wildlife with deer, hares and pheasants. There are good shopping opportunities 5-10 minutes' drive away, with both Meny, Netto, SuperBrugsen, Bilka and many more. In 20 minutes' drive, you can drive to Aarhus city center or to Silkeborg.

An experience for you who appreciate peace and coziness in a different home, with the sweetest and most beautiful garden.

The apartment is furnished with a double bed (180X200 cm), sofa, dining table, etc. The kitchen is equipped with pots/plates, etc. as a vacation apartment. The apartment has a newly renovated bathroom in the basement. There is the possibility to use the garden with a nice terrace. The apartment is close to shopping and with good bus connections. It is 250 meters to the nearest bus stop where 4A and 11 often go into town. Free street parking.

Countryside vacation apartment

Cozy 1st floor apartment on our farm, located in rural surroundings. The home is centrally located in East Jutland, 18 km from Aarhus C and 9 km from the access road to the E45 motorway. The apartment has a south/east-facing terrace, where you can grill or light a fire. There is room for four guests with the possibility of extra beds. We have a sweet, child-friendly and calm dog, as well as four tame cats, who roam freely on the property. The dog and cats are not allowed in the apartment.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Enjoy a quiet holiday in the countryside where the sound of the stream and birdsong is the only sound. There is a stream along the garden, a fireplace and the possibility of spending the night outdoors under a roof. The house is 196 m2 on two floors with 2 bathrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen. 4 bedrooms with 6 beds in total. The home is located in hilly terrain suitable for cycling. The Rondevanborum bike race runs past the house every spring.

The apartment overlooks Aarhus Ådal and Årslev Engsø. Car is an advantage, but there is a bus to the center at the door and a nice bike and walking path around the lakes and into the city. There is a carport for the van. Here is peace and quiet!
