We had a wonderful and uncomplicated stay for this one night. The contact with the hostess was friendly and answers always came quickly. The apartment was very clean and ideal for our stay. In the afternoon, we were able to enjoy the sun on the small terrace. The apartment is very centrally located, so that bakeries, shops and restaurants were around the corner and the dog walk could be done directly from the house. We will be happy to come back.

We were very warmly welcomed and had a great, relaxing stay. The place is very nice and really has everything you need, highly recommended. The forest with many hiking trails is nearby, you can do everything, unfortunately our time was not enough for everything.

We had a very nice stay in Karsten's "Kontor". A really very nice apartment, elaborately restored and very nicely located. Quiet, with a garden and plenty of space to relax and feel good. The amenities are great, there was nothing missing. Everything was lovingly prepared for our reception. We would love to come back, then also gladly a little longer. We wanted absolute peace and a retreat just for us. We found all this in the beautiful forest edge house. It is really in a completely secluded location, the nearest houses are several hundred meters away. Rarely do people walk along a forest path about 100m next to the house, then you can sometimes hear human voices or horses and dogs, sometimes tractors drive or you can hear forest work. 90% to 95% of the time we spent there, however, it was really quiet and we could enjoy this wonderful peace that we longed for. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, very clean and you can feel right at home there. The furnishings are of very high quality overall and nothing is missing. We especially liked the tiled stove in the living room, which you can cuddle up to in the evening. The house has a wonderful view of the fields to the rear. It is an absolute dream house! We will be happy to come back.

We enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful home. The presence of personal belongings makes this home feel like a "home". Some things are a little outdated and a little less clean, but the openness of the house and the beautiful garden make up for it. Oliver was very easy to reach and our problem with cold water was quickly solved (even on a holiday/Saturday). The region is also very beautiful for walks and bike rides. A must.

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. We went to Bielefeld to visit my wife's sister who is in college. The accommodation is perfectly located: close to the city center, close to the university, close to a very nice park. It is in a pretty and quiet, residential area. The apartment is very nice, functional and very well equipped. It's perfect for a family with kids. We appreciated the communication with the owners who really sought to make our stay easier. To park the car, parking on nearby streets is limited in duration (3h) and paying, but we were able to park on a street about 600m away and it was unlimited and free. We would highly recommend this place!
