Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Chatuge Beach

Wonderful stay and beautiful Airbnb. They had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and projector screen. The beds were comfortable and we loved that they had lots of extra towels.

This house has everything you need for a getaway. We stayed on the decks more than in the house. The furniture outside has been upgraded since the photos on the listing. Kitchen was spotless and had everything I need to cook for my family. I will be back. There are 125 steps to get to the water. I knew it would be a trek, so it didn’t bother me. But, just a heads up if you aren’t able to climb that many steps. All of the houses are like that.

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

The home was exactly as described and the hosts were extremely responsive. The dock was our favorite part - it had a great view and was super comfortable. Also, the basement with foosball and ping pong was a great place to hang out. We will be back again soon!

This vacation involved checking out the area for an upcoming wedding. For the house, we wanted lots of space in the house and easy parking, bathrooms for each family group, family space to hang out, easy walking, and of course access to the lake. All of these happened plus great porch space with the firepit and also the outdoor firepit. The stairs to the lake provided a work out and planning for the day. That is the only consideration for others to be aware of, is if they have a family member that has issues with stairs. The area is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for and this home with the easy contact for any issues or questions made it a great week!

Everything was as described. Porch was pretty dusty but hey it’s a cabin in the woods. Great location to the dock and town. We had a blast and would definitely stay here again!

Brian and Dianne went above and beyond to make their place the perfect stay. Extremely responsive, detailed, great amenities and location, and they even left us a little s’mores kit as a welcome gift. We definitely book again when we come back to the area. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

We loved the DiNardo’s place. It fit our family perfectly and had the lake right there and a hot tub too. We loved hanging out on the deck by the fireplace. And used the kayaks. We rented a boat at Nottely Marina and picked up everyone at the house. We weren’t originally going to bring our dogs, but decided to and we’re glad we did. They went on hikes with us, could go to the winery, and went in the boat too! We didn’t eat out a lot. Mainly cooked in. The Walmart and Ingles were close for groceries. The grill was good and is hooked up to a natural gas line. There is also a green egg which we did not use. The wrap around deck was perfect for the dogs and would be great for little kids too. Hope to be back again!

We had a great stay at Kurt’s couples cottage. The place is as described, perfect for a couple, with serene atmosphere, lovely location just off the Taccoa river. We were not into fishing, so may not have enjoyed the stay to its fullest potential but we still loved the place regardless. We were given a tour of place upon arrival as the host happened to be around. There is a fireplace, a fire-pit, lots of firewood with starter, etc., in addition to seating, hammock, and so on. Lots of good stuff. Truly enjoyed the stay.

I can't say enough about Lisa's home! It had everything listed and more. The thoughtfulness in the little details made this the best experience we have had with an Airbnb. This home is beautiful and the amenities at the lake were perfect. Our family had a wonderful week and hope to do it again in the future.

We have stayed in several airbnbs in different locations and this was one of the best ones. We needed a lot of room for family coming in and out and this house provided that. Everyone fit at one huge dining table, even outside there was seating for a lot of people. There weren’t breakable decorations everywhere that kids needed to avoid. Things like that are pretty but we always have to stay on guard at homes like that and this home was beautifully decorated but could handle kids and a crowd. Our dog had plenty of room to run and swim and the dock was easily accessible for swimming and kayaking. We appreciate all of the kayaks and paddle boards that were available and also the sunscreen and bug spray that was in the home. This house is not one of those completely empty homes where you have to buy everything for just a few days. There are spices available, toiletries that smell amazing and a master bathroom that dreams are made!!! There’s also a bait shop almost next door open 7am-10pm!

We had a wonderful week and stay! The game room was a blast! We loved having the boat dock to park the rental boat. Their kayaks are great. Everything was fantastic. We didn’t want for anything! Beautiful, peaceful, perfect stay. Thank you!

The views in this home are breathtaking! It was amazing waking up and being surrounded by the lake and mountain views. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were beautiful and clean! The kids really enjoyed the game room. My favorite part may have been the very kind and accommodating host. He was very quick to respond and was eager to help us troubleshoot a few minor issues. We had an amazing weekend and would absolutely visit again. :)

Our 10 night stay at Maurice & Tina's place was just as we hoped. We were looking to unplug and disconnect from technology as a family and it was a great peaceful location to do that. Our favorite things were the oversized outdoor umbrella and fire combo, hot tub & outdoor shower. It rained a lot on our trip, so those outdoor spaces added so much. The cove was a friendly one, and our favorite new friend was Elijah, the Saint Bernard that lived next door. He was so much fun to visit with. If you are looking to swim or be in the water a lot, this may not be your spot, the water is shallow and doesn't feel swimmable. BUT, if you are a paddle boarder or kayaker, this is a great location for that! We had both and loved coming in and out of the cove each day.

Sarah was very responsive to any questions we had. Space was great for two families of 5 with young kids! We would definitely visit again! Thank you!!

The stay was great. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Nice having the creek in the back. Overall the property was great.

The place was very clean and had anything you might want. It was so well stocked. Mary Beth is very responsive, never more than a few minutes to answer. I wish all hosts were like Mary Beth. Wonderful location, only a short walk to the dock and fishing. We definitely plan to go back. Don’t hesitate, you will be well pleased. Thank you for sharing your home Mary Beth.

We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect, and beautiful. The house was extremely spacious and had everything we needed. Including tons of games to keep the kids occupied, would definitely stay again

The Little Bear support team were great. Extremely responsive and friendly. House was very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Good recreational games in the house. Only one criticism - the heating system in the house could not be controlled and it was always too hot inside resulting in having to leave windows open.
