Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Granbury

The place was great and really clean when we got there. We stayed for 5 weeks and had a great time. They were amazing hosts and if we needed anything or had questions they were there. If we have an opportunity to stay with them again we will! 10/10

The house was not in town. You have to go thru the countryside to get there. It is very peaceful. They are in a nice neighborhood that is taken care of. The house was great!! It had everything we needed and was very clean. It was a peaceful place to spend the weekend. We would stay there again if we were in the area. Joyce

This was the perfect place to stay with our grandsons. There was a lot of entertainment and things to do. The pool table was a big hit. The property was so peaceful with the trees and the Brazo river. Being on the upper balcony felt like we were in a tree house. We enjoyed our stay.

Amy's lake house was perfect for our family vacation! The gated lake access gave us peace of mind with our kiddos running around and the view was stunning. We had a great time and Amy was very responsive and communicative.

Great house. There were toys in the kids room and my children were so excited. The electric charger for our truck made traveling and getting around even easier.

We had an amazing day! We booked last minute and we’re still able to check in a tad bit early. Beautiful home and highly recommend booking a stay.

House is in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views and lots to do. Unfortunately, the dam had just been opened the day before so there was a lot of debris in the water. Hope to go back when that’s not the case. Great spot for fishing and playing in the water. House is beautiful and great layout. The only down fall is that the only comfortable bed is the one in the master bedroom. We will definitely go back!

Our stay was great! The kids loved being that close to the water and watching the boats on the lake. Would definitely stay again!

Our family of 4 (+ our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shorhaus on Lake Granbury. It was impeccably clean, the kitchen was very well provisioned and the beds were comfortable. We loved the game room and spent a lot of time playing ping pong & shuffleboard, but also really enjoyed cooking s'mores over the fire pit. It is an incredibly peaceful spot on the lake. The Canadian Geese and ducks seemed to enjoy it too! We didn't need much help, but both Mike & Christine were very quick & responsive when we had some questions. Loved it and we'd definitely go back.

A quiet, clean, and cozy place to relax and enjoy with the family. I'm sorry I forgot a piece of cake from my daughter's graduation in the refrigerator. It was delicious😩. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful lake home! Gorgeous views. Home was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and great to relax in. Husband and kids loved fishing off the dock. they caught quite a few (bring minows). We used the kayaks and enjoyed exploring in them as a family. Our kids are 12 and 9 and did fine on the steps down to the dock...but they are steep and give a workout on the way back up so would be harder for younger kids or anyone not physically able to handle them. Host was helpful and responsive. We would definitely go back!

Ali's place was just what we wanted. It is quiet inside, tastefully decorated, and in a great location. The back porch worked well as a meeting spot for our group and was used quite a bit as our 'remote office'. Ali communicated well throughout our nearly 1-month long stay, and worked well with us to handle some minor issues that arose during our trip...the internet went out due to a lightning strike nearby and Ali got the repair team over to correct the problem in an efficient manner. We will try to book her place again on our next visit to the area.

This house was great for a friends weekend, alot Of room in the house for everyone, it was very quiet and peaceful sitting out on the back porch, we will sure be booking this house agin

This was a beautiful home in a gated community, with comfortable beds and appointments. There was enough room to have my family over for dinner, too! Great space, and wonderful hosts!

The house was absolutely amazing! So peaceful and we caught lots of cat fish and large mouth Bass at the dock. Pool house was very fun , well equipped with kids games. The hot tub, huge plus! It was absolutely amazing and fun time.

Quaint spot with all the amenities! All the little extras made traveling with kids so much easier. The house is at the end of the canal so kids could play in the lake with no worries about other boats. Home was clean and decorated so cute. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Plenty of room for everyone. Quiet and secluded at the end of the street. The dock was perfect for cooking out, swimming and playing in the lake. Great layout.

place is clean but location, not near anything and the air hockey table was not functioning so we couldn’t enjoy that much. Otherwise we like the place.
